I AM MAD because no toilets in captain's quarters yet. I've had to pee for like seven years!

According to popular opinion I'm mad because I wear my pants on my head and have pencils stuffed up my nose to shield me from the guberment behaviour modification mind rays.

In the beginning there was nothing, which exploded.

I'm not mad. But my family are. Be grateful they do not play spaceship games. They're already setting about burning facebook to the ground, starting riots and then taking off their tops and dancing intermittently. That's just at the weekend, actual gatherings are terrifying.

Well, yeah. Everyone knows that pencils are excellent mind-ray conductors so you're quite mad if you use those as an attempted countermeasure.

UMADBRO?

Seriously, as if people expect a "direct relationship" with any game developer to begin with? Good luck with that, lemme know how it works out for you.

TL;DR If you didn't read the entire post perhaps you're probably ADHD. (seek help)

Just go off the balcony like the rest of us.

Since the cessation of their usefulness is imminent, may I appropriate your belongings?

Don't aim at Minmatar ships, it erodes the hull; actually scrub that Twisted

I once did a plumbing job with a fella in a real old house. It was so old the two-by-fours in the substructure were actually 2" x 4" and made of OAK. (Today they're 1 3/4" x 3 3/4" and made of bent, fast-grow pine. BUT, they still call them "two-by-fours". Hold that thought.)

It was a simple leaky pipe. The idea was remove that section. Put in a new one. Hey presto! HOWEVER. The little shaking, turning and knocking around that came with the effort seemed to cause a leak further up the line. SO...we locate it, repair it quite well, but LO and BEHOLD...once AGAIN further up the line....and again...and again....

The moral of this story - the lesson to be learned - once you try to patch up that old plumbing, you're bound to get burned. (You can put down that thought now.)

There just isn't anything that can be said!

I remember reading Seagull's goal years ago also, but I think if that's what she wants the solution is simple: stop letting the devs communicate with players directly.

All communication should come from official posts from a generic CCP account. Stop letting players talk with CCP devs on reddit, twitter or elsewhere because it develops both adversarial and "buddy buddy" relationships between players and devs.

Beyond being just a CCP problem I think direct interaction will all levels of devs in the gaming world in general has led to a lot of problems. People think just because they're talking directly to some coder that their wishes can and should be implemented. It feeds the entitled mentality that is increasing in gaming. I work for a company that does manufacturing, and my employer would never let just anyone talk directly with a customer. And they would never put together an event where all our employees and all our customers would meet and hang out at bars. It would be an absolute disaster!

I'm mad because when I was a little kid watching Empire Strikes Back and Luke was training on Dagobah, CCP broke into my house and shouted out that Vader is Luke's father. Then they ran away like evil Christmas elves or something. I've been mad at those ******* ever since then.

I honestly feel like I just read fifty shades of dumb. --CCP Falcon

Yawn,  I'm right as usual. The predictability kinda gets boring really.

Are you saying you're mad about the CSM?

I quite like the CSM even though it doesn't necessarily represent my ideas on the game, it keeps CCP from doing stupid stuff... mostly.
