A New Event For EvE Online

So far EvE Online has the PvP Tournaments which are great but a new venue needs put into place.

That venue is Boxing and Multi-Discipline Hand to Hand Combat.

Both types of sports would see the fighters involved training some skills that would be similar to a ships agility, defense and offensive capabilities. The skills would be part of the normal Capsuleers training and could be purchased on the market.

The Capsuleer would then train and fight in FPB (First Person Boxing) events to move up through the ranks in order to make it to the end of the year tournaments.

Capsuleers would fight for the pride of the corporations, empires and alliances just like the Navy Boxers fought for the pride of their ship or section during World War II.

Let me be the first to warn you about the incoming NO.
They will all say NO because reasons.
You do not have the right to a private fight that I cannot interfere with will likely be the most common.
Others will say NO because it is against the vary core of EvE.
So now we will see what happens.

A first person fight with the EVE characters and not in ships, do I understand that correctly? Sounds more like something for DUST. An interesting suggestion for that ... and maybe some day for EVE when we have proper WOT.

I wouldn't be surprised at all if CCP announced next fanfest that they're working on an all new game...

Why does eve need a fighting minigame?


If we are brining in other genre's lets at least bring in genre's that don't suck. I want the ability to carefully sneak up behind a player, choke hold them, ask them to spit it out and where are your friends. Then decide to choke them to sleep and fulton them out or slit their throat and dump the body and go on my merry way. MGS5 eve style. And yes...the fulton'ed player is now in my corp and works for me lol.


I'd even give the otaku pervs an eve version of quiet. After the 5 minutes of its thrill factor wears off with her I'd kindly give the dog as well, a better buddy imo.

Im thinking as i just told a corpmate.....

wait till after all the new structures are implemented and the mechanics for them working....then maybe we might get a viable WiS.....and without WiS this would just clutter things up and maybe have to be ported as another individual game for CCP.

Its an ok idea over all though....in the lore Caldari State has bloodsports for ships, wrestling, boxing, and gladitorial like events.....but what we need is an arena for them...and WiS should be the thing to provide that but we will have to wait for the rest of EvE to be prepared for it.

Personally I'd rather blow someones ship to atoms but if you can find the money, Devs and time for CCP to do this without impacting any current or planned work go for it.

Obviously someone had their brain nerfed and should regulate theirself to blowing up suicide gank fit Catalysts. Not mentioning any names Zan Shiro.

The goal is to create as many modules for Eve Online as possible.

So far the main station Eve Online is doing rather well.

Dust 514 and Valkyrie have extended the conduits into Eve Online from other platforms.

Having another conduit into the main station of Eve Online will only better suit the original structure of Eve Online as all three modules will allow Capsuleers to branch out from the main cramped station into the other modules. Its sorta like traffic control herding cattle.

You send some of them here, there and over there while creating new space for new Capsuleers to join the environment.

With Arena you have new members who love boxing and martial arts style fighting regardless of the environment that the fighting is set in joining the modular system of Eve Online.

That is the biggest problem.

I think finding the money would be done through groups such as Las Vegas Boxing Clubs and MMA who like fighting and are really not concerned with what type of environment they are fighting in as along as they are fighting.

Devs? They are all over the place. Just put out an add on the Unity Engine Gaming Forums for experienced Devs to lead the project and they will come. The money has to be there first though.

We are always fighting for the future of humanity. Those who say the fight is not needed...well you are just a wreck needing to be salvaged.
