While it takes some time, exploration for data and relic sites in null and WH space brings in the ISK. It's boring the majority of the time and you will lose ships. But get an escalated data site and you could be sitting on your first billion with one site. Word to the wise though, join a good alliance for support. If you go ninja, you'll lose ships but it's more fun than running around the same space all the time.

You can pick your friends and you can pick your nose but you can't pick your friends nose. Unless you podded them...and collected their corpse.

Sell your arm, use proceeds to fund trading. Do you really need a lot of isk to have fun in this game, though?

Its only worth 20 million isk on the market

I would like to borrow your 'Angro' glasses, that seem to make you see aggravation everywhere where it is not.

Blitz SoE L4 and burner missions (you can easily make $100-million+ ISK/hour; some players are pulling in over $300-million+ ISK/hour). Even if you can't run the burner missions you can still make out ok with the regular L4s. Apply the profits to improving your implants and ship for faster completion times. Wash, rinse - repeat.

I am currently away, traveling through time and will be returning last week.

You must be doing something terribly wrong.

My crappiest Toon flying a Vexor Navy Issue can make 1 billion isk in 18 hours of damn enar afk ratting. Another toon flying a stealth bomber (or a Drake) in faction warfare missions doesn't even take that long. (FW missions aren't as good as they were in 2013 because of market saturation, but I can still pull 200 mil per hour after converitng LP...with a frigate sized spaceship). And all of what I do pales in comparison to a market trader type.

I had an alt that had 100.000 sp in the past 6 years that made 800b

It is not about sp

it is about Vision.

Try FW. If you are active making a billion in a month is cake (if you are super active making a billion a week is cake).

try using an rl skill which can be used in the game for isk. Big smile

Short of scamming, there's very few ways of making huge amounts of ISK quickly. Not being much of a scammer myself, I've found the trick is to make moderate ISK regularly, along with keeping expenses down as much as possible.

To this end, I run some Planetary Interaction and try to do an 'average' of ~2-4 anomalies a day, usually Hubs, as I currently lack the skills to fly big blingy ISK Printers.

While I could *probably* make more mining than ratting, I do a lot of LowSec flying and prefer to keep my security status positive via ratting than expensive tags. I also try to make use of ALL the resources that cross my path. So I'll deploy MTUs while ratting, sell the loot worth hauling to Jita and melt the rest down for minerals.

Keeping expenses down is pretty simple and 90% of it is basic stuff like watching local, not ratting AFK and not going bonkers putting unreasonably expensive mods on paper-thin frigates. A faction web on a Daredevil is one thing, an A-Type MWD on a Maulus is something completely different. The main method of keeping costs down is SRP, join an alliance or corp that has a good SRP program and you can PvP for cheap!

edit: FYI, you've been playing twice as long as me.......

I strongly disagree with all of this.

It sounds too much like real life and work. Very little like a game.

Fly stupid. Keep your expenses as high as possible. Spend those ISKs. Don't worry about your bank account. Drink and fly. Take pretty much everything that you think is a bad idea in real life and do it.

This is a game. Treat it like one.

Serious answer.

Depends what appeals to you.

Ratting/Mission Running is a common method: Nullsec > Highsec (A day of ratting in Nullsec and I can make about 1b liquid ISK plus ~25% from the loot, dread spawns and combat escalations (ratting only)).

Exploration: Combat exploration in Nullsec is very lucrative - Flying around in a T3 Cruiser scanning down and running combat sites, they're a bit luck of the draw so you have good days and bad days. I've walked (well, flown) away from some sites with 600m worth of loot. One thing to consider with this is that it doesn't get you liquid ISK immediately, you have to sell the loot you get before you can make a great deal of money which if done in Nullsec means hauling it or finding a local buyer.

Station Trading: There are some that say that this is the most profitable thing to do in Eve. I've only done it a couple of times myself because it makes my brain melt with boredom but if you buy and sell the right thing you can make an absolute fortune. There was one guy I believe just to show how it's done, created a fresh toon, no implants, no cash injections, nothing - completely barebone ... Starting with the 5,000 ISK you get at the start, he began station trading in Jita and finished the day with 900,000 ISK. Whilst that figure on it's own isn't anything impressive, imagine that with 50,000 ISK or 500,000 ISK or 5,000,000 ISK?

There's other ways like Mining, Industry, Hauling but I've got virtually no experience there so can't comment.

Hope this helps!!

Dont print ISK by misioning, running incursions or running anomalies, you will only need more and more to buy stuff, currency depreciation.

You would be better of exploring, finding modules, blueprints, that will make majority of your money when you sell it to others. Or trade stuff, buy low, sell high. With so much stuff on market, so many lazy people with multisell its easier than before. Also I think exploration is more fun.

Hmm.. not me. Exploring use to be great, was fav pve part of the game, no mini-game, had to arm your hacking ship, situational awareness, always fitting discussions here for the combat, was great fun killing rats and hacking cans for some isk while roaming across the map. I don't like where it went at all, became more like industry, I like to shoot stuff. But, can still shoot stuff on missions at least, or incursions, ded sites, whatever. Trading is ok, no shooting, but can make best isk with some investment and/or patience.

Take a credit card. Buy enough PLEX to take that money and buy all the skins off the market. Resell the skins for twice their value. The folks you're ripping off will congratulate you on your brilliant game play, and you'll have broken that billion ISK mark several times over!
