CCP ExeFile has stopped Working

hey, so I played eve earlier today, closed it out to go and do things came back and BOOM the minute I click play in the launcher I get a popup saying "CCP ExeFile Has Stopped working" not even a second of hesitation. I've tried clearing the cache, running in safe mode, NOTHING works :/ any suggestions?

having the same problem. first run of the game went smoothly yesterday after installing, now i cant seem to launch the game at all. tried clearing cache and it still did not work.

I started having this problem a few days ago. I initially thought that I had a virus so I did a scan and sure enough, the scan picked up a couple of "possible" viruses. Thinking that that was the problem, I tried to launch the game again with no luck. Today I looked at my resources and noticed that my keyboard software was taking up alot of cycles. I closed my KB software, just to get rid of all the process and tried to launch the game again... IT WORKED!!!
I'm not sure, but maybe the program that checks to see what game you are playing (so it can apply your KB/Mouse profiles for that particular game) has something to do with this issue, as I know that said programs start their code on the initialization of the .exe file. That is if you are using a KB/Mouse that has that capability. Hope this helps someone, GL peoples!

Same issue, Fedora 22 Linux operating system, wine 1.7.51

2 clients where one client will crash anywhere from 5 minutes of use to 2 hours of use, the other after a few hours.

"rescache.exe" and "rescache.exe purge" has been run as well as repair.exe

EDIT: followup, multiple crashes, sometimes 5 minutes, sometimes an hour.

Trying a repair as admin as errors might have meant problems with permissions on repair, leaving client up overnight to check stability.

This is a OS dependent generic crash message. There are many causes for this type of error.

I would recommend reading this article on how to capture additional data, then submit a Support Ticket under Technical Support -> Crashes, Lockups & Freezes for the most attention.

When you submit the ticket you should include the exact error message, the game logs, a LogServer lbw file, and a crash dump dmp file for analysis.

Hi there, I got a similar problem, but after reading up on how to upload dumps and stuff, I did the same steps, and when I try to upload the dumps and lbw in a zip arcive, it says: upload failed. Am I doing something wrong?
