I wonder if Warp Core Stabs are reasonable, since most gatecamps only have disruptors, but no scram.

2-3x WCS makes one impossible to hold at place

dunno where you get that idea from, my keres for gatecamping was always fitted with 3 scams and 1 warp disruptor

Or you will be alpha'd by a bunch of Thrashers or Svipuls. Then the number of WCS does not matter.

A ceptor with reasonable tank and sub 2s align time is enough to travel safely everywhere with some caution (pick time, pings, etc.). The next best thing you can make is reducing travel distance going by wormholes / Thera, so fit probes and cloak in high slots.

I'm my own NPC alt.

No, people with better service providers have the advantage.

Rubbish.

What matters is LATENCY or PING, not the 'speed' of your connection beyond a certain minimum requirement (and EVE has pretty modest bandwidth requirements).

Ping is mostly affected by your physical distance from the TQ servers along with how many intermediate hops you have to make.

So yes, a player in London has a far better success rate than a player in Sydney when it comes to instalocking. I know, I live in Australia and I simply cannot reliably instalock targets, regardless how many SeBos and targeting speed rigs I try and fit. My 400ms ping rate screws me over.

TiDi will affect all players, however, once again, close physical proximity to the servers will still give you an advantage.

Ah Australia. Eve on hard mode. I've almost never had a 1 v 1 frig fight where the opponent doesn't get the first shot on me. All those close fights I could have won....

You can see this latency in great effect when gatecamping, not only for instalocks but also when people call 'gatefire'. I usually see gateflash a full 1.5-2 seconds after it's been called by the EU/UK dudes.

A 400ms ping does make for some difficulty.

Also I'm not sure if it's related to ping, but I very often get the problem where you deactivate a module but it just flashes red and doesn't turn off. You need to move the module to a new slot to fix the graphical issue to turn it off.

CCP has given you a fast aligning, nullified, cov ops cloaked ship with cruiser EHP for free. Can even carry 30 PLEX.
Use it.

Why would you carry PLEX in a ship?
