The in game mechanics on this game are rubbish especially the combat.

I've spend the last few days being followed everywhere by psychic tracker agents that know my every move that's how rubbish this game is.

It then proceeds two fools going round in circles round my worthless ship with warp disrupters the game is basically boring as hell as the in game combat is trash where you cant fight back.

The game even comes with the most stupid rules imaginable who ever heard of a police force that couldn't be killed and the fact you cant shoot a player who's red in Hi-sec. And police that warp millions of AU's through use of psychic powers that miraculously told them someone was being shot at.

If your a rookie forget this game its full of people with skill points assigned to them through years of play and there is no way to kill them which makes for a completely pointless game.

bombs that cant be fired in hisec BORING!
ECM's that cant be fired in hisec BORING!
players that cant be killed in hisec BORING!
Skilling up one skill at a time over days months and years BORING!
All of the deployable structures serve no use whatsoever.

If your a DEV reading this your useless learn some common sense.

If your a player don't bother replying to this I'm not interested in your stupid opinions this is directed at the DEV's

This is a new breed of rant.

It rants about the game favoring veterans over newbs too much (a common rant). Then it rants against bombs not being able to be used in highsec, which is a mechanic implemented SOLELY to reduce the ability of high skillpoint players to farm kills in highsec.

Translating it:

CCP THIS THING IS BAD SO NERF IT AND BUFF IT PS YOU ARE BAD AND SHOULD FEEL BAD

(ugh, that was painful to type)

You're entitled to your opinion, however misinformed it may be.

Your alliance is at war, you failed to mention that. You can definitely shoot at people who are wartargets, as the guys that killed you were, without turning the safety off.

Eve is a PvP game, PvP can happen anywhere to anybody and there's often no consent involved, such is the nature of the beast. If you can't handle that feel free to leave and play another game.

If you think the game sucks so bad why not just stop playing it? I don't understand the rant. Is someone holding a gun to your head forcing you to play it?

As far as low skill points preventing your from being awesome I suggest that you watch this.

I love linking that video to players that say that they can't win without skill points when that guy clearly does. So at some point in that video you'll have to admit that it's not the game that sucks it's you that sucks.

There's no short cut to being good at PvP in Eve. Even someone giving you a high skill point character won't help. You have to learn the game. You don't need skill points you need experience.

It seems you prefer games that are simple enough to be mastered in one afternoon. The good news for you is that there are a lot of games out there like that. I suggest you go play one of those.

Thanks for the warning. The probing Venture is amusing, the stabbed up Orthrus even more so; somebody needs to read up on the downsides of modules and realise that Swiss army knife fits generally aren't a good idea.

Funny, when I saw this I thought "I've seen that exact thread title before."

It just wasn't in NC Q&A.

Cheers for the warning... you saved me a keyboard, possibly a coffee cup...

I thought the Orthrus was a heinous crime... then I saw the Blackbird...

This rant makes no sense whatsoever, not even in a "waah I got killed 17 times over raaaah!" kind of way. It's glorious.

He posted something like this in warfare and tactics about a week ago or something.
I'm just hoping he postes it again in crime and punishment before the ball gag him, that should be fairly entertaining.

i'd seen this rant before.

the blackbird is truly unique. a ship to be savoured and admired to the incredible potential it lacks. an Orthrus, piloted on around a month of skill training, truly a blessing to those with PLEX.

However, I am amazed and optimistic that his Garmur appears to have survived to this day.

This is NCQA so I will be polite.

Pretty much every statement you made in your rant is untrue.

Just because you don't know how something works does not mean it is broken.

You may want to park your screaming sense of entitlement and victim complex at the door and consider whether this is really a game you want to play.

There are some problems with the way you are fitting ships, probably because you have misunderstood the roles of certain hulls. The general rule is that you want to pick a hull for a certain task based on it's bonuses and then you fit the modules you need to actually do the thing. I would also not leave slots empty. With some of your fits, I can't even work out what you were trying to do. You appear to be a tad obsessed with avoiding being scrammed at the cost of being able to actually do things.

I would strongly recommend joining an in-game help channel and asking for advice. I would also make sure to check your overview settings, maybe you aren't noticing war targets in local? Instead of fitting warp core stabs and praying, it makes more sense to keep an eye on D-Scan and local and just GTFO when a war target lands.

Also, one thing I always do when I get blown up is to open a private convo with the player who killed you and ask what I did wrong. If you are polite, you would be amazed at how much you learn doing this.

I don't like tracker agents either, too easy to use them as a griefing tool and blame it on just playing the game.
