Any changes coming for the Revelation anytime soon?

I'm Requesting info from anyone from CCP (Devs/CSMs) to please inform me of any upcoming changes for the Revelation. Reason is because I'm training into Dreads atm and need to know if the Revelation is worth training for. I know the Moros and Naglfar are good, but I already have large lasers V and Amarr BS V so it'll be a lot quicker to train for the Revelation instead of crosstraining for the others.

Rev is the best dread bar none until the day you finish your training. Then :ccp: will decide to nerf it and instead buff whatever dread you're furthest from training into. #fotm

The way it works for CCP is, when I major class of ships is in the process of getting a rebalance, then the most underused (in the Revs case, underpowered) then that ship gets the most buffs and becomes the goto ship of it's class. So I'm thinking the Revs gonna get some major pawnage abilities that will make it finally be able to stand toe to toe with the Moros & Naga.

Also I have Large Laser V and Amarr BS V trained already.

Yea. Popularity does affect buffs/nurfs.

I really hope the cap rebalance doesn't ignore us WH folks. Nags are great because of flexibility and no cap for guns. Moros just does a crapton of damage. Revs..well yea i saw a rev once and it was funny :D.

Even a phoenix is better than a rev. It has stupid tank, but can't really hit anything smaller than a moon.

You don't need Amarr BS V for the Rev.

I see. I know exactly what the changes are and when they will be implemented. But as a simple GD forum reader I will do as you ask and leave it to the Devs/CSM/CCP.

I am curious as to why you're involving me tho. You are using a public communication method for a question that is not public at all as far as you're concerned. I feels a bit like attention craving.

You can always use a Nag.
Minmatar BS 3
Large Proj Turrets 5

Then use EMP ammo.

It's like a Rev but better.

This is just plain sad. The Revelation is the coolest looking dread ever, so why it suck so bad?

Outside of wormholes:
- Jumps in at 30% cap.
- Cap heavy guns
- 1 damage type that cannot be changed
- worse damage than the moros with the same cons.

Inside wormholes:
Wormholes are touchy with the dreads you want to use in them. Different system bonuses means different dread/setup.
