I was wondering what kind of information should be put in when creating a planet profile, those that i saw tend to be longer and i was thinking about creating shorter ones but for more that just few planets.

Also how does the sun type affect the possible habitability of a planets in a system ?

Does anyone actually takes those habitable zones into consideration when writing planets lore ?


Also been looking for for population numbers if such exist, so far found this - "Amarr Empire 29%, Gallente Federation 27%, 14% Minmatar Republic, 11% Caldari State".

Does the EVE Source has hard numbers for the population instead of percentages ?

So happens I was reading eve source when I clicked on this thread for some Caldari Info for a story I am writing. Here are some numbers for you.

Amarr Empire Demographic - MIO census YC 114
Estimated population total (not counting slaves):21.449 Trillion (29%)
Amarr: 15.872 Trillion (74%)
Caldari: 3.860 Trillion (18%)
Gallente: 1.501 Trillion (7%)

Status of Matari within the Empire
Free Minmatar: 214.491 Billion (1%)
Enslaved Minmatar: 10.712 Trillion
Avg number of slaves per household: 2.3
Percentage of population actively practicing religion: 98%

Gallente Federation Demographics
Estimated population total: 19.991 Trillion (27%)
Gallente: 10.395 Trillion (52%)
Minmatar: 6.997 Trillion (35%)
Caldari: 1.599 Trillion (8%)
Amarr: 999.572 Billion (5%)

Minmatar Republic Demographics
Estimated population total: 9.641 Trillion (14%)

I wonder how they can put that many people on that small ammount of planets new eden earth like planets must be so densely populated like double digit billions on each.

You know what it would be really cool a planet descryption on some planets talking abaut the lore and importance of the planet if it has any it would be great and i dont think it would take alot of effort for the devs since im not talking abaut puting descryption on every planet but on some key worlds, or maybe on all of them but eventually.

You know mass effect style :p
