How is the calculation for SoV ADM working

Just wanna know how it works, if i understand correct, then as more rats die in a system the defense multiplier goes up but what is the eve math behind that? How fast is it going down if nobody is active killing rats in a system ?

Also with the Industrial Index, is it made in m³ of ore what is mined or is in killed rocks or how this works ?

You are welcome to the info I have, which may be correct, incorrect or simply a figment of my imagination. I am sure others will add their own opinion, or better still a link to some facts !

Industry Index

Last attempt I saw to put the maths on it was this:

The industrial index decays at a rate of 1% per hour (or around 25% per day). The index is increased by the total volume (m3) of mined goods. Mini-profession sites (magnetometric, radar, ladar) do not contribute to the industry rating.

The first figure is the volume to achieve the index, the second figure the volume per day to maintain it.

1 / 1,500,000 / 750,000
2 / 3,000,000 / 1,500,000
3 / 6,000,000 / 3,000,000
4 / 12,000,000 / 6,000,000
5 / 24,000,000 / 12,000,000

Military Index

I haven't seen any maths for this one, so I can't say if it depends on the number of rats killed or their value. What is noticeable from experience is that if you want to raise the ADM of a system as fast as possible, ratting will get you there quicker than mining.

Strategic Index

According to the tooltip, this depends simply on how long you have held sovereignty - 7 days for level 1, etc.. This is misleading and we have asked for the tooltip to be corrected. It actually depends on how long you have held sov OR the time since you replaced an iHub that was destroyed. Loss of an iHub will reset the Strategic Index to zero just the same as a full loss of sovereignty.

Why strange Question

@ Cherri: Thanks, this is a good observation, i saw at i was flying anomalies now, a site gave me between 3 and 5 % to the next lvl up, after stop ratting, the index steps down obvious 1% per hour, maybe not accurate but as long nothing official is found good enough.

Strange to me because, in the normal order of things, a new player would be more concerned with other (more fundamental) aspects of gameplay Idea
