Fellow co-pilots,

I would like to invite everyone that will be in Athens on January the 28th to participate in the 7th annual EVE meeting.
If you are around Athens just come. Every nationality will do and for sure you will plenty to talk about our favorite game.

The 7th annual meeting in Athens, tends to become a custom and I believe that its certainly most interesting.
There's a pie cutting (greek custom), and usually some small gifts. The gifts are taken by the guy/girl that finds the coin in the pie.

The event will take place at Dasein coffee/bar which is located in Eksarxeia.
Time of event is scheduled around 18:00 Greece time though ppl ofter come earlier for catch up talk.

See you there

This sounds like a very good event.

Do you have pictures/videos from previous gatherings? And how many people do you expect to attend this year?

Hello,

From 6th Annual Meeting, a friend took some pictures and video. I'm still looking for him to give me the material.
This year I hope to gather more than 100 pilots from Athens. Also I hope the co-pilots from Thessaloniki to organize at the same day and time their event and to manage to have a video conference Big smile

In Thessaloniki our friends will held their event at same time & date as in Athens.
The event will take place in cafe Alpha, Ethikis Aminas and Svolou at 19:30 Greek time.
We'll try to establish a video conference to talk with our friends.
Everybody are welcome Big smile

Yes, I too would be ironically nationalistic if my country was bankrupt and on the bones of its arse.

Right the problem is Greece with a debt of 350b Euros. USA or Germany or France dont have such a problem because they dont have any debt at all. (14.5 trillions dollars for USA, France and Germany have around 10 trillions Euros in debt).

Anyways my problem is not with the fellow citizens of either country. But before u speak u should check ur news and try to find out what they dont tell u. ECB for an example has 60b of greek debt in their hands. The funny thing is that they bought it at 20% of its worth. So u my friend give ur tax to ur goverment, ur goverment earns a 80% profit and u get nada in return.

To the Greeks in Athens and Saloniki have fun and enjoy ur party. Wages of 300Euros per month for 8-12h work per day r very close. So celebrate as much as u can. I cant be there unfortunatelly. (unemployed for the last 17 months like one million greeks.)

for the rest of EVE community. PEACE!!!

send us 300 billion euros and we will send you back X3

anyway, we started these gatherings several years ago, and every year we get more and more people, that actually love this game

economical crisis in Greece made us limit our expenses to the maximum, and since you see greeks trying to keep their accounts alive and keep playinf this awsome game, you should conctrats them and not to be ironic, we are on the same side on this (trying to make eve better game with more pilots active)

on a sidenote we havent bankrupt yet, but pay higher interest on the given loans, so your countries earn more money atm, so your "taxes" generate more income for your countries, take a break from other internet games and use your head (actually will make you better pilot)
