There's only one way PLEX prices are going long term and that's upwards.

Too many isk faucets, way too little isk sinks. Expecting them to break 2bil and go higher within a few months.

Let's see

Ccp could listen to the team of professional economists to determine if and when to adjust the market or it could listen to you.
Hmm hard choice.

In before the lock for redundant PLEX is too damn high thread.

All I know is this: I've paid real $$ to play and I've bought PLEX to play, paying real $$ to play is so much more relaxing and enjoyable than playing to play.... cause that's work.

I guess that the declining numbers due to the PLEX price increase will add more fuel to the "They left because Fozzie Sov" threads P

OP does your game play contribute to the overall health of this game?

It seems that your only purpose in this game from the perspective of other players is that you are a PLEX buyer. This is a function that could easily be replaced by NPC buy-orders.

NPC do not post on forums.

Honestly the more alts that die the better the health of the game. THE GAME. Because it means more legitimate positions for real human accounts to occupy, not getting endlessly camped by afk cloaky alts, getting hotdropped by super alts, having a seed in their station screwing with the market, etc etc etc etc

There are so many legitimate cases for the PLEX to rise above the doe-eyed alt-abusers capacity of income that I'm amazed it hasn't hit 2 bil yet. But it's well on its way.

Also someone tried saying the OP was a parasite and that's just not true - even for CCP the player who eats the most PLEX to play is making them more money through channeling money->time. PLEX is an extremely ineffective way for someone who wants to play a game to enjoy it unless they really love PVE. Because money almost exclusively comes from PVE activity. Almost.

I should have bought all the PLEX I could have 4-5 years ago at 300m per. Oh well

Player driven market. CCP shouldn't have to step in for something that is entirely player driven, simple supply and demand.

As someone pointed out earlier, you have contributed nothing directly to CCP's bottom line, yet you want CCP to make it easier for you to do so. Generation Y?

If the price is still going up, then people are still buying them. CCP doesn't need to step in and do anything.

If you like Eve enough to spend countless hours on your little project, maybe you could show your appreciation to CCP by using some of your hard earned IRL cash to support the game instead of crying on here about the price of space pixels?

EDIT: Is this a PLEX price whine post or a covert Citadel Project advert?

He still supports the game. It's a fallacy that he never paid for the game, he just paid in time and effort rather than cash.

Someone else paid in cash to save themselves time and effort.

Either way, CCP receives income for the characters that this guy had active.

I Know. The fact that everything is player driven is what I love about the game and that's why I am a great station trader, but I have been busy and I could buy a PLEX now, but it cost 1.2 Bil isk.

Everything player driven is cool but PLEX prices being player driven is bad?

CCP should indeed step in.

If you don't pay subs, you can't post in general discussion.

This thread is crap.

OPs shameless plug of completely crap meanderings through empty grey corridors, is crap.
OPs whining about not being able to afford PLEX, when all he does is waste time producing above crap, instead of actually playing EVE, is crap.

Rarely have I seen crap stacked this high, ontop of other crap.

PLEX bought on the market mean, that another player pays your bill. The player decides, what he wants as compensation for that. If he wants a billion ISK, that's completely legitimate. Other players do not have to pay for your subscription and you are not entitled to use a service for free. Deal with it. TIA

here is a tip: try it for once... saves you some "playing" time..

the market is player driven, if one folks want to pay 1.2b or hek even 2b for a plex then the price will rice indeed..
if they don't.. we will get an oversupply and the price will fall again..

What I saw you have this thing to create. Your creativity is in the theme of EVE but there is no way of expressing it in the game now. Because you want to create your own place, not to play by someones rules in space when creating "content".

Your a builder. Sandbox person. But there is not enought sand in EVE for your kind so you must improvise for yourself.
EVE doesnt have WIS and you are building WIS environment yourself with your limited resources and time.

I will not be surprised if you would leave us after the citadels come out and all you could do there is to fit bunch of modules and operate in by the rules CCP will make us.

But I dont see why would you make post about it? To went out the frustration about PLEX prices? We know they are what they are and PLEX is scarcier more it costs, because surprise, people that sell them dont need so much ISK in their pockets after it costs so much. The amount of persons that would need so much ISK is also lower. So there you have it, it will cost more and more, and the price will come up faster and faster, until it will remain a non important gimmick few would really notice, like a tournament ships on market.

erm more like it will drive more people to buy PLEX to sell. As for those that already do, we're talking EVE players here, avg player prolly having 500 ships and 1 million items each, and still counting Lol

I'm in it for the money
