This is a filthy lie. 800×600 is a 4:3 resolution, like for plebs.

So it's more like 800×450, only sharper.

Don't you know that 4:3 is the new 16:10, is the new 16:9? Big smile

Pff. 9:16 > all.

That could just be a week of InDesigning 500 pages worth of theses and reports talking, though…
On a slightly related note, if I ever find the programmer who put in the direct text format buttons in Word, I may need the name of a good bail bondsman.

4K and 5K give a very sharp, clean image. The present texture resolution won't quite be able to make use of this fidelity, although the result is still impressive.

HUD scaling is also something to consider. This is a 'HUD on' shot of B-R. On a 30inch 4K screen that was fairly easy to make out - on a 27inch 5K screen, the HUD scaling in the game isn't really sufficient at 150%.

You can check out some 5K galleries of fleet battles here and here.

On my 13" Razer blade, everything's pretty tiny at 3200x1800, even with scaling set to maximum. Am tempted to drop resolution down a bit to save my wee eyes OopsX

i have 3 HP Z27s 4k monitors but i don`t use the 4k because my graphics card 2x amd 295x can not handle them well in eve i got weird glitching lag/artifact all around my screen. Or my video card are broken or something els that dont work with windows 10. But i`m guessing its my cpu! Amd phenom 2 x4 965be oc 4ghz edition can not handle the load data.

Never use the 4k only for youtube vids and thats seems to work also netflixs works to. I have try skyrim but it crash. All other games run well on 2k but 4k nope. bad very bad.

Wouldn't run 4k on nothing less than 40" monitors ultra wide if possible.

So i just want to update, i went ahead and got my self a Samsung 28" 4k monitor, and EVE looks awesome, let me say that again it looks AWESOMEEEEE, as a logistics pilot i was always fighting space, since i needed to have watchlist, scanners, fleet screen, chat, etc ,etc and there wasnt enough space left, but with 4k WOW so much space is available :) UI at 150% is perfect you can still read it .... it is just perfect

1) UI will be too damn small
2) you need military grade GPU performance to acceptably run games on it without lag

just wait a year or 2 for those 2 things to be fixed, then go for 4k.
If you don't have the patience to capitalize the first word in a sentence, then you definitely don't have the patience to actually read up on 4k systems.

Your opinion should therefore be considered null and void.
