If following the instructions in Anthar's article doesn't help, please submit a bug report in-game from the F12 menu. If you do it while the problem is happening, you can use the tool to take a screenshot. Doing this will attach your logs, a full description of your system, and any screenshots to your bug report.

Feel free to post back here with the bug report number, which you can look up here:

https://community.eveonline.com/support/bug-reports/my-bug-reports/

after you've submitted it in-game.

We can't promise an answer to each bug report. However, we do strive to fix bugs that we can reproduce or otherwise collect sufficient information to identify and fix.

Thanks for taking the time to report it, and we'll be sure to have a look.

Dear CCP, its been more than a week already and although I reported it "in-game", I do not even have any ticket reports when I log in. I love the game, but playing it like this is not worth it... and I am still paying for it month by month.

Any ideas that I could try? If I do not see my ship, I cannot fly, fight or have any fun. As I said in my report, this happened after the last patch... before it worked properly.

thanks.

you won;t hear anything from a bug report unless they need more info.

#2 it snot a game breaking bug, if it can be reproduced and fixed it will be fixed in one of the releases and not before. nor do they typically say its been fixed unless its game breaking and everyone is getting it.

And it could be a simple issue of updating yoru video care driver to fix it.

the point is, you reported it, Darwin said they may never be able to fix it. Poking the thread for a minor bug is not going to move anything along. Just let it lay.

you might get a reply but 9 times out of 10 you won't.

As I pointed out, we do not always respond to bug reports, since they're not intended for player support -- they're to let us know about technical issues that we need to investigate and try to fix.

That said, if there has been a response to a bug report, the one and only place you can see it is on the My Bug Reports page.

Though it would be nice if your internal bug tracking system would close IGBR entries that got attached to existing defects if this is the case.

Wow! Relax man! take a pill or something...

Unluckily I am not a computer savvy person and a new player to the game... so I need guidance. Which I am not getting except for the CCP person that kindly answered in this thread (and I followed his advice) and few kind people that wants to help.

Also, I have paid for the game and I have all rights to complain... plus I do not think I am doing this in a bad way. Boycotting? Jeeezzzz, Ok I will stop if you say so sir, yes, sir! No intention of boycotting anything. My game and computer were OK before the last patch and I am looking for solutions for this and you don't need to be ...whatever.

Thanks for the answer, I did report it in-game but never got a report ticket or something. I thought the Forum was a good way to get some type of useful answer -which it did- and now I am trying to fix according to people's suggestions.

Thanks, Any suggestions of things I should do to try to get my game back to normal? I understand that it may be a bug happening only to my computer, but I need some clear help to make it work. It did start behaving AFTER the last patch and I have not downloaded any other software that could conflict. I am not a computer expert -as people seem to be in these forums- and it is hard to follow all suggestions without a step by step guidance. As I said before, I do not intend to troll, boycott the Forum (?) or anything, but just get my game working properly (if not I will have to stop playing). If I can provide more information and that would help, who should I send that info to?

Thanks again for taking the time to answer...

Graphics Bug "Eclipsed stations and ships"

Ill try to make this as accurate as I can.

Hide in the smuggling holds and wait until the ship has been docked, initially swept and the inspection team arrives. Knock them out and then call the guards at the ramp for assistance. Incapacitate them and take their uniforms. Proceed to the hangar control room and let your mechanic droid get his freak on with a wall socket. Post robo-coitus and after your droid has updated his Adobe reader and flash plugin, the computer should reveal that the princess should be located in Detention Block AA-23 in cell 2187.

At this point, go let your octogenarian mentor take care of disabling the tractor beam all alone, no need for backup of any kind as an 80 year old can handle himself pretty well. Place a sasquatch in handcuffs and walk him in the front door of the detention block under the guise of a prisoner transfer. Don't forget to shoot the officer in charge in the face as soon as he questions your ironclad undocumented order. Just in case no one saw that, go ahead and shoot pretty much everything that's around you. You never know if that coffee mug has evil intentions and ammo is unlimited, so just cover all your bases here. The only thing you shouldn't shoot at this point is a grating along the wall near the back of the hallway. Don't worry, it will get whats coming to it.. that grate bastard.

When someone calls in to check on what happened, remember, they can see anything because you executed the fax machine, so be sure to act as panicked, out of breath and unorganized as possible. Use the excuse 'large reactor leak' because if there is anything that signals 'situation:normal' its a potentially cataclysmic hazard. Superiors tend not to question whether or not a detention area would even house a large reactor in the first place, so go ahead and reassure him everything is fine, and ask him 'how are you' just so he can see that you were concerned for his mental well being. After that, go ahead and shoot whatever you were talking into. Loose ends and all that.

Now go down the hall and find the princess. Don't worry, she will trust you immediately as long as you tell her about grandpa that you let walk around on his own. Se may comment on your physical appearance, that is just how she greets people. Be sure not mention the cinnamon rolls she is smuggling in her hair. Its the Alderaanian popular hair style. Anyways, at this point youll probably notice the squad of troops who are pouring into the area. Don't worry, you have an excellent position in which to defend yourself, as the wall behind you has go your back. Good guy wall.

Anyways, the one thing you didn't shoot in the place was the random grating to your right.. remember?, so go ahead and shoot that now, but make sure the princess does it. She needs to feel like shes contributing. Without investigation, leave the absolute security of wall bro watching your six and jump into the hole in the grating. Youll soon find yourself in the refuse pile. Don't worry at this point, because no one has access to any schematics of the station youre in, so they will never know where your escape route lead. While youre here, go ahead and shoot at the wall to cover your bases as that tactic worked so well the last time!

You may notice at some point that the compactor will start. The important thing now is to stay calm. You can now try to call your droid buddy, but chances are after all that hot hot interfacing, he needed a sandwich or a smoke, so try to brace the walls with some discarded piping. It will hold, as these compactors aren't designed to crush anything like this at all, and someone really should have thrown that in the recycle bin anyways. If it looks like your fool proof bracing structure will fail just keep hollering at your boy... Its been like 20 minutes and hes had a sandwich, so hes ready for round 2 with that wall socket again. Once he gets all the compactors shut down, go ahead and use the door. Weird how it responded to the open command and not the blaster. At no point wonder why the empire spends money on blaster proof trash compactors.

Once you are toweled off and back into your clothes, you should make your way back to the hangar deck. Grandpa has had plenty of time to do his thing, and frankly the princess has got some low blood sugar and is being whiny. If you see a group of troops who are on patrol, by all means, separate the group into two teams. Team A's responsibility will be to charge at them while completely unarmored and yelling at the top of thier lungs. This will frighten the highly trained troops and make them retreat as they are trained to do in this situation. The chances of them running to some kind of barracks or room filled with more troops is actually fairly low, so just go wild. Shoot the ceiling as well, remember, anything can be a potential enemy.

Since the cessation of their usefulness is imminent, may I appropriate your belongings?

Team B will flee in another direction, hopefully towards one of the many many bottomless pitfalls that are mandatory in todays architecture. Once you reach it, close the door behind you. You see, with all of this technology at our disposal, the one thing we never seemed to quite master was the door lock, so go ahead and shoot the panel! Don't worry about it, there probably isn't another panel on the other side of the door, and the chances of 1 panel serving more than 1 function is pretty low. Now try to find a way to cross to the other side of the abyss as clearly there was no way to extend a bridge. At no point should you question why did we need to have a retractable bridge, or why the architect needed to plan to run a major hallway through a bottomless shaft requiring one in the first place. Use the grappling hook and cable that you have for some reason to grab ahold of the thing that is hanging down from the ceiling.

At this point you can go ahead and ponder upon why a ceiling is a thing, but a floor isn’t. Youll have plenty of time for that once you swing to the other side. Go ahead and make out with the cinnamon bun princess at this point.. for luck. Take note of the kiss for future reference. Now go ahead and bring both teams back together and meet up with the droid bros. And get ready to run to the ship.

You are probably wondering at this point what grandpa has been up to as you haven’t heard anything from him for a while. Chances are pretty good he is napping, feeding the squirrels, or making some young lady feel uncomfortable by pulling a coin out of her ear. If you look to your left while you run towards the ship, you can see he is in a pretty heated argument with a half robot gothic amputee. Feel free at this point to break his concentration by yelling at him. He will take a laser sword to the knee or something and cease to be an adventurer like you while dropping some sick loot. Go ahead and shoot at some stuff now as that is pretty much what you’ve done the entire time. Don’t worry.. Blast door bro will come to your aid and keep the gothic amputee robot guy away from you.

Board the ship and fly away. Be careful that you aren’t followed by a few fighters at this point. Even though this place probably houses thousands of them, only 4 wil be available to come after you if any. Don’t worry though, your cargo ship has like 2 blasters, and those fighters are way bigger than a womprat.. so you got this. Blow them up one by one, and remember to gloat about it every time you do, as people are keeping score. But don’t get cocky.

Or you can clear your cache and launch a bug report.

Since the cessation of their usefulness is imminent, may I appropriate your belongings?

If this is an ongoing problem, I'd do a few things. First, check that you have up-to-date graphics drivers for your GPU. Then, try lowering various graphics settings to see if anything resolves the issue. Particularly, I'd keep an eye on what happens if you change your shader quality from "high" to "medium" if you're not already at medium.

Also, try running the client repair tool, described here:

https://ccpcommunity.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/202108842-Client-Repair-Tool

in case something's corrupted in your installation.

If none of this helps, please go ahead and open a support ticket:

https://ccpcommunity.zendesk.com/hc/en-us

Click on the "Submit a support ticket" button to do so. You'll get a response from a tech support game master who can help you attempt further troubleshooting.
