It was .... it was my Tempest that he was flying.

The hole was already massed, Bronya and the guys had jumped through first to try and head him off. He collapsed it on his way through. My friends panicked, a strange wormhole ... no probes ... and here was Market McSelling Alt making off with my Tempest, chortling all the way to the bank. My colleagues managed to flag down a passing German explorer, paying a singing ransom for a k-space exit and thankfully made it home in one piece. I'd have felt like **** if they'd gone down trying to save my 'pest.

I tried to ... put aside my pride afterward. It's just a Tempest, right?

But then when I saw he had the audacity to make this thread well .... I'm sorry, but, but I just had to post.

This has happened to me once. The hole didn't go critical as expected and I assumed that I'd miscounted or made some similar mistake. Turned out my math was fine (that time) and it was a display issue.

I'm guessing that it's just a latency issue, since there are so many similar latency issues (corp bookmarks, sig/anomaly list updating slow) already.
