WH Mass Limitation

I have seen it written that all wormholes have a deviation of +/- 10%. Some have called this a standard deviation.

Is the +/- 10% a hard limit? eg all 2G all holes are between 1.8G & 2.2G?

Or is the 10% a standard deviation ala statistics whereby 66.7% of holes are within 1 standard deviation of the mean (eg on a 2G hole a third of wh's would fall outside of that range)?

Hope that makes sense.

The 10% variation is a hard limit. When devising a method to roll WHs make sure your method works as intended for both extremes assuming the WH is 'fresh'.

10% is 10%. no idea where you got deviations from, this isnt a survey...

I think OPs asking whether or not it's either -+10 or between +-10

Not exactly what they asked, but it doesn't matter.
CCP wouldn't implement something that complex.

So you're sure a wormhole has 3 states:

+10%
neutral
-10%

?

Lol...
Believe it or not, I know what standard deviation means. And it has nothing to do with wh masses...

No, it doesn't. No idea how this is confusing...
Eg: a 2 bil hole has a mass somewhere within the range of 1.8 to 2.2 bil kg. This means it's not a deviation since if it was, some whs would have mass outside this range, which they don't.
