Small scale PVP loki

Anyone have tips on fitting a Loki for small scale PVP.

Used for :
Guarding a Tengu in DED sites - we get a lot of agro (may shoot the occasional rat just to provide extra DPS).
Small fleet roams/gatecamps.

Probably prefer armor but shield fine too.

primary job of a loki is to web. Does this small gang have logi?

About 70% of the time. Yeah the idea was it would be in-site ready to web up intruders. Allowing the Tengu time to either A get range and kill them or B escape.

Huginn would do this better, people wouldn't know it's there before hand and it's much safer as it can web from much further away.

People seeing a tengu and loki in a site will bring enough to kill both.

my tip to you is: read the traits of the ship and fit accordingly.

EFT is also a great tool for this

So, if I read right, you want arties, 1 web minimum, and probes for finding sites.
Probably a MWD for burn away and maybe an analyzer to help in relic or data sites.
Shield tank so your fleet bonus can help both the Loki and the Tengu.
Cloaky/nullified, to scout ahead.

I wouldn't pvp in those ships. Your *risk vs reward* is just not there.

YOUR risk vs reward is just not there.

Loki is a great add to a tengu running sites. 2 webs plus AB should keep it out of trouble in solo intruder situations - just position it properly as soon as you get in the site. After that you can fit any utility you like. If it's just a support ship to keep the tengu out of trouble there are a lot of options. Your play style will dictate what extras you should add - analyzers/cloak/rr and so on.

Don't let risk averse numpties like this guy cramp your play style. At the end of the day - it just a loki - if you lose it you can easily get another one.
