Shut it. That's completely uncalled for.

Oh that's just his sense of humour, I didn't feel particularly offended by it!

For the first time since I started the conversation, he looks me dead in the eye. In his gaze are steel jackhammers, quiet vengeance, a hundred thousand orbital bombs frozen in still life.

I miss living in barracks.

Most soldiers do.

What fills the soul? Something that guides a lost child back to it's parents arms. Or waves that dye the shores of the heart gold. A blessed breath to nurture life in a land of wheat. Or the path the Sef descend drawn in ash. In the wake of fire.

Call me crazy but I really prefer living in our Executive home with my wife.

I won't. That genuinely sounds like an enviable life.

I just have to admit there is something about the order of a barrack that appeals, it's just a shame that there isn't a lot of privacy.

Well, I don't have a wife (obviously, for biological reasons), I don't have a home, and all I have are these single personnel quarters.

I'm sure there are a lot of people that would prefer that.

Then perhaps you should get one and upgrade to that Executive Suite.

Sounds like my situation. We've moved into Heydieles after taking the system, and I bounce between the corp-rented quarters (their style and layout is far too glitzy Gallente for my tastes) and the living areas in a Heron I've not hired a crew for yet. I like exploration frigs; I miss being out-of-pod and wandering systems.

Don't even know if I'd want a home, TBH.

I have an apartment that gets shipped around with me when I'm deployed.
It's not huge, but it works for times like now where I'm in the Amarr warzone and can't always make it back home.

Wow, I think you need some R&R, maybe get the Sense of Humour implant checked? It seems to be working sub-optimally...

I hope you are suggesting to get an apartment, because otherwise it would be violation of Caldari State law.
Well, unfortunately getting apartment cost money. I am not saying I can't get money, but I would really prefer to use these money instead to buy more ships and equipment to fight gallentean menace.

I am not kakku to use money just to enhance my comfort level.

There's an aspect of propriety about it, too, Kim-haani. Whilst I'm a simple combat pilot, my wife is a Corporate Executive and we need a home that can be used to entertain other officers in our own corporate hierarchy as well as visitors and allies.

Other types of homes are against the law in the State?

Crap, I bought my mom a 124,000 square foot mansion on Caldari Prime..... I'll have to tell her to move out....

A little trust goes a long way. The less you use, the further you'll go.

Uh-- well, it's not such a simple thing. Unmarried men and women normally live in dormitories. That often doesn't apply to executives or nonentities, though, for ... well, exactly opposite reasons.

Too important / not important enough.

I think she was referring to my suggestion that she get a wife.
As Aria already stated single living isn't illegal...just depends on who you are.

Wow. You might want to pick which neighbourhood you move her into a bit carefully as I can imagine the mother of an Ushra'khan pilot being about as popular in Caldari administered areas as one of my sibkin would be on Gallente Prime.

I know what you're trying to imply here, Pieter, but clearly you've never been to Gallente Prime.
