So null-sec died, you got tired of being alphaed the moment the enemy FC drew your name from a hat and you want to have fun in game again?

Purpose

Forte. is a corporation recently founded by null-sec veterans, of all degrees of bitterness, who went looking for both a more laid back lifestyle and competent people to fly with.

We don’t “cover all aspects of new eden” nor do we “have a mining and industry wing”. Most of us have diverse alts to sustain us with isk, but as a group, pvp is our first and only concern.

While some of our founding members are experienced eve bureaucrats, we are fairly apolitical. We have found a nice group of people in Mobius alliance. They suit our culture. The alliance supplies the banner, the cause and the enemy, we geek out on how to win the fights, hereunder doctrines, FCing and training. This is the type of role we see ourselves remaining in.

We’ve been around the block and remember low sec as the most fun, so we’re intent staying in our current space, rather than chasing sovereignty ambitions or other rainbows. Most of us have been on enough move ops. Just like our alliance, with whom we fly a lot, we’re split between EU and USTZ.

Culture

First and foremost, Forte. is a friendly and mature environment. Importantly, that means that we try to keep the tone “family friendly”, meaning that the crassest jokes, racial/sexual identities used as descriptors and general bigotry are left at the door. We still have tons of fun. Most of us have known each other for years and we are both understanding of RL situations and keen to make our numbers count and making an effort for the group. Some of us are “semi-retired” FCs, execs or super pilots, who enjoy flying hard without the 3am pings.
No one will chastise you for not showing up to the fleet, but you will get high fives when you do. We’re mostly in our late 20s through 30s and we’re made up of pretty interesting people, spanning a wide range of locations and RL professions.

People

All of us have years of experience in game, most of us have lived in all flavours of space at some point. While everyone has a particular style, we understand that the group functions better when everyone dances to the same tune. Thus, we adhere to doctrines, step up when the alliance needs combat leadership and go the extra mile to cover any shortfalls personally before making it a group problem. We expect a little extra from ourselves - while being friendly and helpful to alliance members and friends who may be younger players or who lack SP or funds. If you like to lol at newbros and generally be “elite” this is not for you - but if you want a competent, close knit group who are ready to lend a hand, do read on.

You?

We are now opening our recruitment. We’d like to be a little selective and expect our candidates to feel the same, so we’re happy to spend time, go on some fun roams and make sure that we’re the right fit for each other.

To fit in in Forte. you’ll bring a can-do attitude and enthusiasm for taking risky fights. You can think for yourself and contribute to the roundtable, but you’re also willing to go with the consensus for the benefit of the group. You are isk self sufficient - not because we constantly whelp expensive stuff, but because we have a few staple ships that we keep handy, so that we can compose fleets efficiently. We’re also quick to turn around and try new things and add to our tool box. Forte. is small and will not spoon feed you content round the clock. Self starters have more fun, but the alliance has regular content ops and you are always free to start/lead your own!

You should be ready to come live with us in low sec - and either use alts for high sec or be willing to tag/rat your sec status up.

Forte. Indicative requirements;

25m SP - or close to it if you’re PvP focused
Carrier - Own or get one from our local supplier.
ISK self sufficient - running costs are low, but you’ll need a few core ships
Willing to train for developing doctrines/fill skill gaps
TS3 and API

Willingness to (learn to) FC or perform other essential fleet functions.
Willingness to occasionally geek out on the training servers and ideally, help alliance bros.
