I am a total Carebear, but null-sec profession sites are calling to me. I could use some general thoughts on the following.

I am considering undergoing the following 1+ month of training:

Hacking, Archaeology, and Astrometrics IV -> V
Astrometric Pinpointing and Astrometric Rangefinding III -> IV
MAYBE Astrometric Acqusition III -> IV (??)

Note: I do not wish to do WH sites at this time.

Questions:

Will this mini-training plan significantly improve my overall null-sec data / relic experience? (I understand t2 mods, ship bonuses, etc. I am asking if this stuff will make a huge difference.)

Is there anything I should remove?

Is there any real need to take Ast. Pinpointing, Acquisition, or Rangefinding to V _just for data / relic sites in null-sec_ ?

Thanks!!!

Sounds reasonable. You should be able to use T2 hacking modules. Then as long as you use a probe bonused ship lvl5 of the scanning skills is not necessary (just use Sisters Core Probes with T1 launcher and put all to lvl4). However if you plan to scan with unbonused ships, the T2 Probe Launcher is very handy and needs lvl5 Astrometics.

I'm my own NPC alt.

Archeology V is money in the bank. Everything else is convenient and will make the hunt go marginally faster. Hacking is a waste unless you are completion minded like me or you fancy hunting drone blueprints.

Well, if you plan on doing exploration professionally (a very lucrative career), then I suggest you train up all exploration skills asap, use top of the line equipment (SoE Launcher & Probes, scan bonus ship) and maybe even invest in an Implant or two (Poteque 'Prospector' Astrometric Rangefinding). Also don't forget about cloak which is probably the explorers first line of defense while scanning.

The main thing is to quickly find and complete the sites asap. Having an edge on the competition is always a good thing.

Good luck to you.

Hahaha,

Contrary to popular belief I do post some helpful info from time to time.

However in answer to your question, nobody.

Now if you wanna gain some likes, go visit the 'Likes and Get Likes' thread in OOPE sub-forum.
