im throwing a little get together on SiSi that involves players, drifters, and hopefully killing those drifters. what i propose is going to take place in high security space where a fleet will hunt down and destroy drifter battleships. It is a theory of mine that Marauders may be the best thing for taking on these disgusting abominations. i myself will be flying a paladin, the fit for which is still in the works. if interested we will need Logi, Tackle to get those drifters pinned down, and DPS to put the smack down on dat ass.
i know how drifters work, im sure we all do. someone will die, but i have a theory: that with good enough logi and good enough tanks the ship that is targeted with the super *might* survive.

If interested please post here or mail me in game. A date is not yet set and will be posted here. it wont be long though.

nice sig.... the idea is to discover ways to murder these unholy things. I have been doing research in the background about how to survive these things and am coming up with some experimental fits. Now what am i offering? im offering a chance to quell ignorance and find efficient ways of killing these things without getting murdered. Hence why its on the test server instead of tranq. also it seems fun.

I have a PVE alt who has Golem mastery to 4. Don't know if that fits in with any of your ideas for fleet comp, but I'm interested. I'm super curious to see what works against these things. The first team to crack the code on how to farm Drifters is going to make a boatload of ISK before the adjustments get slowly made to bring rewards in line with other farmable content. Should be fun for a while at least.

your more than welcome to join, i am kicking the idea of a golem around but it will take some time, stay subscribed to this thread for updates. also message me in game if you want.

To OP: I think that if this thread is going to have an impact, we will probably need to see fits and strategies at some point.

Yesterday corp mate easily killed Drifter BS in Chimera....tanked DD without any problem.
