you start different instances of wine like so:

wine explorer /desktop=eveA,1920x1200 eve.exe

note the eveA should be changed. Or use random in a script.

However i still have problems with this at times because it won't always push the right client to the background or other windows such as TS. So now i run one eve per virtual desktop and setup hotkeys in KDE. It is instant to switch and you don't get the [alt] button issues.

AKA the scientist.

Death and Glory!

Well fun is also good.

I just use the launcher and start all the clients with it and then I use awesome-wm to arrange multiple clients on different tags (virtual desktops). Then you can switch instantly between them. You can also display multiple clients automatically arranged on one screen in a configured pattern with a simple key combination this way.

The only problem with this is if a client changes the resolution it will usually screw up the windows positions inside the client.

Thanks guys, I will check out virtual desktops solution. Handy thing I found was window key + w I get a nice view to select. Problem is it always mixes up and with many windows it is too small to recognize what is what. Since I rely on windows to be in specific order (using for pvp) sounds virtual desktop is the way to go.
