opening IGBR when modal window is open (bug report 124651)

...is currently not possible. this becomes a problem when - like in my case - i want to report a bug where a modal window is part of the bug i want to report and take a screenshot of.

as instructed by BH on duty i am supposed to post here because this is possibly not a bug. please also see bug report 124651.

adding a shortcut for IGBR might bypass the modal window problem... just 1 possible solution...

Hum... what does IGBR and modal window means?

i used "IGBR" for the new ingame bug reporting tool.
a modal window is a window usually used for important notifications where you need to close the window first before any other UI interaction with other windows is allowed again, e.g. a price warning window.

so, once a modal is active, you can not take a screenshot with the modal window, because you cannot enter the IGBR, because there is no shortcut for it (of course therea are also other ways to fix this). and the shortcut that is available for the screenshot tool only works, once the IGBR has been started first place. chicken and egg problem...

apparently this is by design. thus the needed post here.

Oh yeah, i've used the bug report tool a few times. It does sound pretty bad if there is a bug in the bug report tool, so yeah it should be fixed.

Bump it so that the devs sees it.

i have a feeling a dev saw it. that thing is though, it is currently not considered a bug but it is by design.
