New Use for Diplomatic Shuttles

So, we got the blueprints for the Council Diplomatic Shuttle, and they are neat-o and all, but they don't serve much of a purpose.



I suggest that if you fly a Council Diplomatic Shuttle in highsec, then concord / faction police Do not attack you, and your security status is counted as being 0. If you get into a regular ship it goes back to normal but the fact that it is a Diplomatic Shuttle would mean that you have Diplomatic Immunity.

Maybe in addition you could pay a small fee to waive hostilities for a small period of time?

Actually, this isn't all that bad of an idea. HOWEVER, it should only apply to the Faction Police and CONCORD. All players should still be free to blap a criminal in HiSec or without getting gate gun aggro in lowsec regardless if they're in a Diplomatic Shuttle or not.

But does HS transit need to be any easier than it already is?
Especially for characters that have otherwise already committed to, and committed, acts which drop sec status??

Although have a percentage chance you have a UN version - when someone shoots it they get sent a strongly worded evemail that threatens the pilot that if he shoots it again they may be forced to table a motion to form a committee to discuss the possible wording for a resolution that will go to a vote about the wording of the next sternly worded evemail.

There are 4 forms of police, why only concord and the faction police, ignoring the navy and customs?

Why can't I smuggle stuff past customs officers in a diplomatic shuttle like a real diplomat? What I have in this space-bag fresh from gallente space is none of your business, I have diplomatic immunity!

They're not really meant to serve a purpose aside from pure cosmetic flare -- that's kind of the point of any non-mass produced gift item. Not sure I see the difference between this and just running around in a pod. Granted, I'm not necessarily apposed to it, just don't see the need.
