So I attempted to run a tracert to help narrow down if it is a connection problem to CCP servers, and the only IP address that I came across is 87.237.38.200. The only problem is unfortunately CCP does not run ICMP anymore as of a couple months ago, and so the requests time out on the echo.

Is there another way to test our connections CCP to your servers? From my understanding, there is no built in ping test and ICMP is off. What are we supposed to do? On a side note, it is depressing that there is no network testing in the game, but there is an FPS counter.

Sigh.

Can you reach out to a Dev for us or something. I don't feel like our voices are being heard. :(

I submitted a support ticket under the technical field to report the problem. I suggest you guys do the same thing because I believe the forum medium may not be communicating our issue.

This is what I submitted in my ticket. Obviously yours will differ.

I hope you are able to help out because I am at your mercy and I really do enjoy Eve Online. Thank you in advance.

takes me ages to log in get a black screen the whole time when i do finally log in jumps between gates usually take 30 seconds and module lag 2-5 seconds just to active sensor booster. I was totally fine during the tourney but now this is unplayable

I, too, am having these issues. Please send help. When playing the mini-games while doing exploration, it takes forever to finish. Very nearly unplayable.

The problem is not only the black screen, its the totally unplayable latency that occurs once in the game. 10-15 second delays sometimes, and your website is also horrendously slow.

Same issue for me as well. I particularly enjoy the 40 second black screen while undocking and the 30+ second gate animation every time I jump a gate. Trying that rescache fix posted earlier, but don't have high hopes.

I am having the same issues. Major delay doing anything. Pulling market orders, dscan, hacking games, log-in, undocking, system changes, ect. I also submitted a ticket. Been a few days now. Game is near unplayable.

Every time I log in, by the time I see anything the warp animation is over.

I am having the same issues. It's not account specific as it occurs on all of my accounts. It's not my network or even the network at large as I am not having similar problems across other games or devices. I have tried repairing, reinstalling, etc with no success. It seems to work better at around 7-8AM my (central) time for whatever reason, I would guess that has to do with a general lack of congestion at that time both in the US and EU.

The rest of the time it's as other people describe. Slow to log in, character selection turns into a black screen for as little as 30 seconds to as long as 3-4 minutes. Once in game, everything is slow to respond. It can take up to 30 seconds or more for the drop down menu to appear after right clicking in space. All modules react as if on TIDI. After selecting warp the ship is slow to react, and upon exiting warp the same. Switching from solar system to solar system is so slow that there have been instances where by the time I gain control of my ship it is already out of gate cloak. Doing relic/data sites is painfully slow, after celecting a node to uncover it might not respond for a full 30 seconds. Completing a single can in this manner can take upward to 20 minutes. Combat is scary at best, by the time you are able to react to something, 30 - 60 seconds have passed, then turning modules back off or switching targets for instance is just as painfully slow.

The population of the system seems to have little impact, I have not noticed any difference in totally unoccupied J-space vs Jita, for example.

Edit: Browsing these forums and the Eve Website is also slower than usual.
