Interesting, but this lil guy easily replaces 3 related rigs (tracking speed, falloff. optimal). Of cource it is performing not that well (correction - it gains less % in terms of given bonuses) and it's a victim of drawback effect as well.

What would you prefer 1 TE or 3 rigs? Should't we just have TC and new script which gives you a falloff bonus.?

TE are the answer to shield fitted ship's tracking, optimal etc.

Armour ships get the benefit of being able to specialise which is a running theme throughout eve. More mids = more utility

TE's were nerfed a year or two back because they were a bit too strong. Now 3 TEs give almost identical boosts to 3 TCs scripted 2 range 1 tracking. On a 800mm AC Mach it's 3.8+61 with .067 tracking (TE) vs 3.9+63 with .07 tracking (TC)

But I like TCs more because of the adaptability and the fact that 3 range scripted TCs give more range than 3 TEs all be it at slightly reduced tracking.

This is of course fine because TCs take cap (not a huge amount mind) and are hard to fit on non marauder shield ships. Also super hard on the CPU 35 vs 15 for TEs
