If i was using two omni traking links ll on a ship and had one loaded with optimal range script and the other module with the tracking speed script would the scripts cancel each other out and only receive the module bonus? From reading the scripts the optimal one gets +100 optimal -100 tracking and the tracking one gets -100 optimal +100 tracking which to me says it cancels each other out correct? Was talking with another player and he said scripts do not effect each other only the module it is in ,so basically every drone or gun i use will get +100 optimal and +100 tracking.

The scripts effect each module individually. So one would boos tracking only and the other would only boost optimal / falloff range.

If you don't follow the rules, neither will I.

Basically what a script does is it changes the numbers on the module its fitted on ONLY. A script loaded into one comp has zero effect on another comp.

Basically you will end up with a range boosted tracking comp and a tracking boosted tracking comp. This is superior to just running both without scripts as you run into stacking penalties as each one only gives half of each bonus (tange+tracking) but they get stacking penalized.

Omnis affect drones, not your guns.

Penalty: Using more than one type of this module or similar modules that affect the same attribute on the ship will be penalized.

And, no, your drones don't get +100 optimal and tracking. An Omni II gives 7.5% bonus to optimal, 15% to falloff and 15% to tracking when unscripted.
A script doubles one bonus and sets the other to 0 (100% to one, -100% to the other). So an Omni scripted with optimal range gives 15% to optimal and 30% to falloff, an omni scripted with tracking gives 30% bonus to tracking, and those apply to the drones you're using only.
