Unable to join Alliance

I have created an Alliance on my alt char - now how do I join the newly created alliance ? as I am not able to find any join button or invite button.

is there maybe a cooldown period before on can accept or create invites for the alliance

Mine is Bigger **than **Yours ! <<<

On the corporation thats looking to join
Corporation -> Alliances -> Rankings -> Click the Show all button -> (Click it again if it doesnt show a long long list of alliances)
-> Search for your alliance -> RIght Click apply and press OK
On the executor corp
Corporation -> Alliances -> Applications -> Right click your application and accept then wait 24 hours for your corp to be in the alliance

Maybe an Idea just to add a JOIN button when you view the alliance info
