9 days of silence on my support ticket

I have submitted a reimburse ticket 1 time. It took 7 days IIRC to get a response. Not a big deal tbh.

I, however, did not keep poking them asking them "wheres mah response". Instead, i bought another ship and went roaming. About the time i forgot about it, they responded.

You need to skill Patience to lvl5 and stop commenting/poking them. In this case, the squeaky wheel doesnt get the oil. It gets buried under the ground in a soundproof box so it stops making the devs want to gouge their ears out.

I become more and more displeased about this silence as it is a reimburse ticket and there is no point logging in for me untill this is handled, one way or the other.

How much longer will it take to get a response? Is it a common thing to have such a long period of time pass with no response other than the automatic mail?

you've opened a petition now you wait for a response. you're not the only person with a petition open.

you're unwilling to replace what you lost without a GM's help. you refuse to replace it. even if they say sorry. nothing is out of line on this one, sorry for your loss.
you'll just jump back on the forums for another whine, say EVE is a terrible game and you're leaving and taking your 20 alts with you.

where you this demanding with your wording when you opened the petition first?

Are you here to have a conversation with people or just complain and troll. A few folks, myself included, have asked some questions nicely because we're curious about some stuff you posted and you just reply with posts that are really negative in their tone and short in their content.

Lol now im the troll. Fine :)

Most of the discussions people have tried to engage me in here are troll attemps and are pretty obvious to spot thus I have no interest in entertaining them. Some of the above mentioned people branch into unrequested advices and tips on how I should play eve, why I should quit or not and incoherent ramblings of some sort. Also I ignore or just telegraphicly reply to those putting words in my mouth and imagine things about me or what I 'actually' intended to say. Most of the questions Im being asked here are pretty ridiculous and I fail to see their point in this context.

This thread is a fine example of when an issue is being pointed out the people that are most likelly to derrail from the issue and troll it are either people who directly bennefit from said issue, professional trolls and ignorant about the issue people.

They're just playing with you now.

You may as well just ask for the thread to be closed or stop responding.

No, what you're experiencing now is what's called “confirmation bias”, or possibly even projection — you assume something is the case, and therefore interpret everything as confirming that it is.

Most people have been engaging you in curiosity since your complaint lacks coherence and consistency with your actions as you've described them so far.

That's because of the aforementioned confirmation bias: you assume that they are ridiculous and don't actually read them, instead dismissing them based on prejudice. Forum clichés aside, almost none of the actual questions raised are ridiculous; all of them are entirely in context, and have direct bearing on your complaint.

At the end of the day, you are seemingly letting a go/no-go decision hinge on the outcome of a process where the outcome will have absolutely no effect on the core issue of your complaint, and you apparently will not do anything until that decision can be made. This immediately raises the issue of what you're actually complaining about and what you are waiting for. The disparity between the supposed cause and effect raises eye-brows. That you choose not to explain the disparity only raises them further. Your subsequent accusations of trolling firmly plants those brows upside-down at the back of people's necks.

I don't feel like being curious about why someone would play a game other than enjoyment is an outrageous or trollish question. Seeing as how this is a form of entertainment I am understandably curious.

But yeah I see what you mean by trolls, a thread that seems itself to be a troll will certainly attract them.

I think I understand how the op is thinking.

they lost a ship through means which has been deemed an exploit/ against the rules

if they get their ship reimbursed they feel that they are playing a fair game and will continue playing

if they dont get their ship back then they will decide not to carry on playing what they feel is an unfair game

seems a reasonable position to take

Dude they are trolling him. Not directly but they know exactly what he means. That is a form of trolling. Or they need to learn to read between the lines.

Hes trying to make some noise saying if he doesn't get his ship back hes gonna quit (even though he likely won't), and he probably hopes some CCP guy reads it and gets him his ship back.

They're asking pointless questions like what are you going to do if you don't get your ship back etc.. What do you think? Most likely nothing. Again he's just making noise because he thinks it might help his position.

I'm not saying he's right or wrong, I really don't care.

3. Ranting is prohibited.

A rant is a post that is often filled with angry and counterproductive comments. A free exchange of ideas is essential to building a strong sense of community and is helpful in development of the game and community. Rants are disruptive, and incite flaming and trolling. Please post your thoughts in a concise and clear manner while avoiding going off on rambling tangents.

5. Trolling is prohibited.

Trolling is a defined as a post that is deliberately designed for the purpose of angering and insulting other players in an attempt to incite retaliation or an emotional response. Posts of this nature are disruptive, often abusive, and do not contribute to the sense of community that CCP promote.

Reimbursement tickets is by far the most used and longest wait in the System, as there are many many tickets filed a day. All tickets are read and investigated, so it may take some time to get too you. Tickets are responded in the order they are received.

Now, I am closing this thread as this answers your question/Complaint. The other reason is that it has devolved into a mass of trolling and off topic.
