you've opened a petition now you wait for a response. you're not the only person with a petition open.

you're unwilling to replace what you lost without a GM's help. you refuse to replace it. even if they say sorry. nothing is out of line on this one, sorry for your loss.
you'll just jump back on the forums for another whine, say EVE is a terrible game and you're leaving and taking your 20 alts with you.

Are you here to have a conversation with people or just complain and troll. A few folks, myself included, have asked some questions nicely because we're curious about some stuff you posted and you just reply with posts that are really negative in their tone and short in their content.

They're just playing with you now.

You may as well just ask for the thread to be closed or stop responding.

No, what you're experiencing now is what's called “confirmation bias”, or possibly even projection — you assume something is the case, and therefore interpret everything as confirming that it is.

Most people have been engaging you in curiosity since your complaint lacks coherence and consistency with your actions as you've described them so far.

That's because of the aforementioned confirmation bias: you assume that they are ridiculous and don't actually read them, instead dismissing them based on prejudice. Forum clichés aside, almost none of the actual questions raised are ridiculous; all of them are entirely in context, and have direct bearing on your complaint.

At the end of the day, you are seemingly letting a go/no-go decision hinge on the outcome of a process where the outcome will have absolutely no effect on the core issue of your complaint, and you apparently will not do anything until that decision can be made. This immediately raises the issue of what you're actually complaining about and what you are waiting for. The disparity between the supposed cause and effect raises eye-brows. That you choose not to explain the disparity only raises them further. Your subsequent accusations of trolling firmly plants those brows upside-down at the back of people's necks.

I think I understand how the op is thinking.

they lost a ship through means which has been deemed an exploit/ against the rules

if they get their ship reimbursed they feel that they are playing a fair game and will continue playing

if they dont get their ship back then they will decide not to carry on playing what they feel is an unfair game

Dude they are trolling him. Not directly but they know exactly what he means. That is a form of trolling. Or they need to learn to read between the lines.

Hes trying to make some noise saying if he doesn't get his ship back hes gonna quit (even though he likely won't), and he probably hopes some CCP guy reads it and gets him his ship back.

They're asking pointless questions like what are you going to do if you don't get your ship back etc.. What do you think? Most likely nothing. Again he's just making noise because he thinks it might help his position.

I'm not saying he's right or wrong, I really don't care.
