9 days of silence on my support ticket

I become more and more displeased about this silence as it is a reimburse ticket and there is no point logging in for me untill this is handled, one way or the other.

How much longer will it take to get a response? Is it a common thing to have such a long period of time pass with no response other than the automatic mail?

Oh no, princess, heaven forfend that you might actually have to wait...

...and I have bolded the reason why it's taking the time it is to resolve.

I submitted a ticket last year and it took them more than three months to reply to it.

If it has taken 9 days I'd take that as a good sign personally. They must be investigating it.

You can log into the support system and add a comment to the task. Whether or not that does anything behind the scenes, who knows, but it's worth a shot. Otherwise, yeah, just wait.

Also, you're looking for reimbursement for a hyperdunk, correct? That will probably not be reimbursed since it's been ruled as OK, so there's little point in waiting it out anyway.

If your reimburse ticket is related to your recent loss to gankers, that you were talking about in another thread, CCP will be looking at the logs to see if your loss by hyperdunking involved jettisoning ships in order to delay concord response; this takes time.

If your loss is deemed to be result of regular hyperdunking, which doesn't involve using the aforementioned exploit, your reimbursement ticket is unlikely to be approved.

Good luck either way.

In the beginning there was nothing, which exploded.

It seems to depend on what you are asking support for. Mine was something a bit complicated but not necessarily urgent (well, at least not for them.) Things like "stuck in mission" usually get fixed pretty quickly. I hope for the best for you.

My ticket is indeed about hyperdunking - the jettison ship variant or superhyperdunking as some call it - and this practice was recently outlawed.

I have attached several pollite coments so far on the ticket wtih 48 and latelly 24 hours frequencyes and cannot help but taking it personal after so much time has passed with not even a single replly that at least mentions a ETA on the resolution.

As a future refference for PR regarding (dificult) tickets a personalized response containing at least an ETA will go a long way in customer statisfaction, no?

If that's true then you'll get reimbursed, so just be patient. Repeatedly posting forum posts about it isn't likely to speed up the process and will probably end badly for you.

Your expectation of entitlement beyond what other players receive is mindboggling.

I used to know some people that were so bogged down with issues on their desks at work that they would just bury them in paperwork. The time they actually got around to looking at them half of the issues had been resolved one way or another.

I'm not saying that's what happens in EVE of course.

A few questions related to your thread

1. you say "no point logging in" do you actually own only 1 ship and have 0 isk?
2. did you read the description of the game when you signed up?
3. did you know that you can be ganked by people and its valid gameplay?
3. are you a code alt?
4. what are you going to do if they say no to reimbursment?

I get the feeling it's like, I'm not playing until you give me my ship back.

I think my record for my reimbursement ticket was roughly three to four months to get the reply of No :) Which i still disagree with to this day, and roughly a year later they reimbursed someone for the same situation and even when i reopened a petition to query it i just got the reply of 'its been too long to deal with your old petition now'

The most aggravating was having 130b vanish from my wallet and not getting the item i bought either and having to wait nearly a month to actually get given the ship.

You have no choice but to wait, CCP are spammed by pointless reimbursement tickets all the time, mostly from people that know full well that it was their fault and not the games and are just trying it on anyway.

Its that also but more like : I will not play a game where almost impossible to counter or avoid 'superhyperdunk' like tactics are legal.

Ok, so it's also a superhyperdunk protest.

1 assume i do
2 briefly
3 ofc, I've done ganking in different forms many times myself
3 no
4 look for another 'hardcore' but with fair mechanics game

@Avvy
What do you mean by 'protest'?
