So today was the first day I was able to watch the matches on twitch.

And I have to say I'm blown away by the amount of vile that's getting spewed in chat. I mean sure I smacked in local to get a fight or to taunt. But the stuff people say in chat about commentators wishing people would die so you dont have to listen to them talk?

Maybe it's just me but I thought the community of eve were better than this.

We compare insults over beers in Nora and laugh it off, it's pretty great.

No matter how much people hate us, we will never be hated as much as Fozzie and he is one awesome badass of a dev.

It made me chuckle when a bemused CCP Karkur asked if this was the first time we'd ever seen real people in response to people's reactions after spotting players family members in the webcam interviews on the last day.

My agreement to participate was predicated entirely on the permission to wear hats.

And then I got twitchslapped. Was glad to have protective headgear and a visor to hide my tear-filled eyes from the camera.

Seriously though...I kinda miss it as well. Maybe that's why I'm hanging out on the forums this week.
