Since they were willing to fly out Camel Empire and the Serenity teams last year I don't see why they wouldn't fly out a pair of teams this year.

The actual required standing will be +0.5 unmodified to the Amarr Empire. Your standings towards each of the houses are not being used.

LOOKING FOR GROUP

Just saw the dev blog on this and am pumped. I've always wanted to participate in a tournament but never been in a good position to do so. This event is perfect in every way for me. I am a died-hard Amarr pilot with my character's 10th birthday of unbroken Amarr-related training coming up in April 2016. I have been playing on and off for the entire 10 years with the majority in Factional Warfare where I've done a lot of solo and small gang (my killboard will probably show some weird stuff if you creep it, but that's because I like to experiment with theories).

Here is a screenshot of my ISIS (the only reason it's not 100% level V mastery is some astrometrics skills, literally every skill of significance is at level V):

And just to prove my enthusiasm for Amarr, I got this at Fanfest 2013:

My character alone is unsurpassed in her abilities for this event, and although I may not be as active player as some, I do have a very long-standing and deep understanding of the game as well as smaller engagements.

I could lead as a captain and be the one to register since I have some pretty good Amarr credentials (would be for Khanid) but I would be equally happy to be a team member.

Two questions:

1. When does the championship actually begin? As in, when is the first battle? I ask because I have a dedicated Amarr toon who can fly most but not all T2 Amarr ships and I want to know how long I have to train into the rest of the ships.

2. Will the ability to fly T3 ships be necessary, or are they explicitly excluded?
