Please note that you are showing Shock Diamonds in the new jet engine graphics, and those are a side effect of pushing aside the atmosphere.

While it looks cool, you might consider tweaking it. I have no idea what it SHOULD look like though. I'm sure the art department can come up with something cool though! Keep up the great work!

I doubt that they can. The diamonds look cool and CCP has stated that they sometimes value cool over "realistic" (realistic as much as scifi can go). I wonder if the engine effects will all look the same. After all, we have 4 different propulsion technologies for the Big 4 races.

My ship will generate shock diamonds by venting the atmosphere from cabins with the spergiest crewmembers.
