Remote Repair Idea

Thoughts on moving Remote aid modules to different slots and adjusting Logistics boats slightly to account for this? This would make it a choice of Tanking more heavily one's own logistics platform or being capable of giving greater repairs.

Highs become Cap-Xfers
Med Remote Shield Boosts, Remote Hull Reps
Lows Remote Armor Reps

Feel free to rip the idea apart, just kinda a lazy middle of the day thought...

Can't wait to get alpha'd off the grid because I had to put remote rep on my ship instead of resist/buffer mods.

Then there is no need to change the slot allocation of the mods. Just cut their high slots number and get the same result without having to re-design any ships.

It scale to rather high level with resist and speed/sig tank.

307 raw shield HP is nothing to write home about but it's what a 4 large meta 4 basi rep for.

A T2 rail mega with 2 damage mods has more than double that DPS. Well until you apply resist.

You apply the resist of a charon (0/20/40/50) and it already drop from 631 to 431 and that's a naked ship with no mods. Make it a naked Harpy (20/84/76/60) and it drops to 130.

Remember that 130 is if the tracking is perfect so either an overly large target or really slow.

In the mean time, our Basi is still trucking at 307 HP/s.

There are 2 things that make reps look really strong. Resist as demonstrated and speed.

You will run out of slots for buffer or resist since he at least though of aligning them with their respective tank slot type.

Shield ships already have those dank power diagnostic units which let them fit buffer ehp in lows and resists in mids...

But all in all this isn't a very good idea... Remember "high slots" aren't "slots for guns" they are "slots for **** that use alot of power" which definitely qualifies as an apt descriptor for long range armor reps...
