i have black screen only on my mai character. after creating new one, game runs ok.

This is not an isolated Windows 10 issue. I am in Teamspeak with people with Windowws 7 and Windows 8.1 and the problem is the same for them.

Since after DT today i cannot run 2 clients at the same time before DT it was working fine.

CCP EXEfile stops working when the second client is preparing data it doesnt matter which account is running 1st or 2nd

To be honest I hate it spending 2-3 hours in the evening trying to fix the game rather than playing it :(. When I read all this feels like you need to be an it specialist to fix the issue ...

Any patch planned to fix it without us uninstalling and manually rename files and folders and programs?

I ran the rescache and now the system is downloadign 5 GB of data... happy waiting .

rescache is a tool for verifying and managing the EVE shared resource cache.

The current shared cache location is
C:\ProgramData\CCP\EVE\SharedCache\

19 files corrupt
41556 files not yet downloaded

19 corrupt files were deleted

But this did nevertheless eventually work, client working again, going to bed now :(

It ran without any issues on Windows 10 so far - no OS updates / changes / installation done - I just had a disconnect and now trying to login results into black screen on all my 3 accounts.

what didnt help:
- slim installer , repair tool, rescache

WHAT HELPED!
- creating a brandnew cache - redownload of ressources


For some reason, the download of the assets took extremly long, even with my 300/300 mbit/s connection (tested connections to various UK based servers to verifiy that it isn't my connection itself - all my connections used pretty much all the bandwith. So CCP, are u probably using a P2P setup to distribute asset downloads requested from the launcher?
