I have also encountered the same problem, although only the second client crashes. The first client runs just fine while attempting to start the 2nd.

Good news, atleast now we will get a reasonably accurate number of the actual player base minus alts ;)

problem fixed with a new patch. Close all clients and restart launcher.

Now it works for me.....I can start multiple Clients from the launcher....

I still cant play eve from anywhere, The patch still doesn't resolve the problem of the client not loading after pressing play,
Iv'e also had a support ticket open for 5 days or more now with no response or suggestions to this bug or problem, I pay monthly to play this game and they cant even answer a Ticket with any sort of suggestion, CCP whats going on :( :/

I too am still having the same issue - client will not open from the launcher or bin folder. Also the same, no response on my ticket in 5 days.

My ONE whole client still opens, and goes black. Same problem, still zero solution. This is getting old, and I've hardly waited a week......

Objects in space STILL mismarked where everything has the box of 'destructable' when it's not. Is this part of that 'customizable icons for overview' we were promised?

Also, flavor text for Region descriptions still not back after nearly a year of it missing and promised it's return.

Still missing, location of that list of bannable exploits promised after the last titan bumping debacle.

Still missing, those customizable overview icons.

Still missing, workable reliable Launcher.

Still missing, a voice comms within the game client worth a tinker's damn.

Noticing a trend?

CCP, don't make promises where they'll be remembered by someone(s) and pointed out, you forgot to keep your word to your paying customer base.

Oh yeah, I forgot. Been over a week since new mini-expansion. We're in ignore-land now for bugs and issues while you whomp up the next broken 'Shiny!' to toss at us. Let me guess, another SKIN batch for us to spend Aurum over? You've been doing a lot of Plex sales. Finances not looking so healthy?

Another day, another patch, and another bout of the same issue. I'd submit a ticket on the issue if it weren't for the several of other individuals who have already submitted multiple each all to be ignored. Seems like CCP is saying that submitting a ticket is waste of both their and our own time. Sigh, I love this game and think CCP can be great at what they do, but the amount of issues that occur EVERY new update is astonishing

It's over 7 days since this Galatea launched. We Are being ignored, CCP is on to the next mini-release. CCP SoP: we get 6 days for fixes to an addition, after that we eat it. Part of the 'evolve or leave' and 'harsh cruel space' behaviour they carry out of game into customer relations. I'll be shooting at every single thing marked destructable in each and every mission since that graphics glitch is now on the ignore lists. Only been playing over a year, and watching the fast track change in policies and interaction, it's disheartening.

Yup. But betcha there will be another SKIN package to throw (purchased with RL cash) Aurum at, and (yet) another Plex sale very soon when the current one winds down.

6 days and I got a reply in regards to launcher not starting the client. Was told to submit a bug report.

Basically saying we got no clue, dont care, and to do a bug so our high school testers can play with it...

Tried to do the bug report and says "unable to submit due to an internal error" - tried 3x
