Fozzie guy made a nice joke. He did replace supers by trollcrptors. No matter how big you are there is a lil guy who screw you anyway.

Which is A: Wrong and B: Irrelevant, since if Goons wanted to burn Provi they could have done it under Dominion Sov anyway. And probably faster and easier.

any suggestions of what GSF are doing are irrelevant. and by the way weren't the busy with other irrelevant things (N3) while the fozzsov hit?

The only thing a randon troll ceptor can really do is offline your station services during your inactive tz, which is annoying but nothing more.

If you let a singe ceptor or tiny gang of such reinforce your system during the vulnerability time then you either don't care or don't have people anywhere near the system.
And guess what: It doesn't stop there. This inferior gang would also have to capture nodes two days later.

Only difference:
1: You can no longer reinforce and then flip a system with a cap fleet in 10 minutes.
2. Entities withous immense cap fleets have a shot at attacking and defending sov.

A superior force still wins and if the superiority is clear enough they can also win without giving the opponent a chance to fightbut this is as is should be and the latter has become more difficult due to constellation wide capture points.

Proviwar showed this.
During some capture events goons were able to lock down single systems or establish control over a constellation leaving defendersunable to respond while in other instances proviforces won despite superior hostile forces in the constellation.
I believe both sides not only had fun but learned a lot about how to deal with this.

i hope you don't overestimate what goons did in Provi. I hope you don't consider "this war" as a "real war" either deployment into your territory. Such a short but intensive event is nothing to compare with weeks/months of invasion. Is when you do try multiple tactics and strategies. Everyone had sort of fun, you didn't show us your muscles (superior force) thus Provi didn't won "this war" cause it was something really different.

Anyway it's wrong, as the reinforcement timers under dominion would've mean it would take longer.

Also, obvious timers that people would third party on, much more annoying to do so when all you can gain is a sight of an interceptor

You don't need weeks/months anymore.

But let's just say provi won, hurry up and rebuild everything.

While I wouldn't say we won (we never really expected to win). You have to admit that Goons did not come close to achieving their initial goal. And that is more than we expected to achieve, so we are happy.

BoBwins Law: As a discussion/war between two large nullsec entities grows longer, the probability of one comparing the other to BoB aproaches near certainty.

Do you think is that because of Provi forces were doing well or as usual Goons being bad (just like in everything) ?
I think the one who won this war is Fozzie guy.Blink
