Actually, CCP doing this makes us internet spaceship pilots happy and is also a cool publicity stunt (marketing, you know). So I don't think it is a waste of money.

Half the reason theres starving kids there at all is because we keep giving them money, had it not been for charity then most of those unfortunate humans would have sought there own means to survive, maybe moved on to somewhere less inhabitable, developed their survival skills etc.

Instead we give hand outs until they are so dependant on them it actually causes their own demise, we send money, they have kids, we send more money to pay for the kids and they have more kids. No one ever seems to notice this visious circle because most people are too wrapped up in 'feeling good about giving' to notice that they are destroying a part of human culture.

I know this post is gunna get me a lot of hate, but think for a second, does money ever really improve things in those countries? Has charity ever done anything more than prolong the suffering? Aside form the odd water well that cost practically nothing to drill. The more money gets sent, the worse things get.

Our char pics in a high altitude ballon is a great idea, its fun and will be good publicity for the game. P

I play because I enjoy it. I'm not here to ruin this or any thread, just wan't to know how do you guys feel when wasting money to stupid balloons while people are dying because they don't have any food.
