Best profit tracker for region trading?

I've messed with a variety of profit tracking solutions and haven't ever quite felt satisfied with any of them for the kind of trading I do, so I thought maybe I'd just throw it out there what I do in general terms and see if MD had a suggestion.

I use region buy orders to acquire all sorts of (mostly random) crap, which I then resell remotely using sell orders, from whatever hellhole the buy order filled at - for example, I used to do this in Gallente space and had orders for tritanium fill in Old Man Star, so I'd just sell the trit right there in OMS (no hauling means no getting ganked YAY).

How do I accomplish some sort of profit tracking that doesn't get confused by the region buys?

I tried EVEHQ and EVE-mentat; I think for them it ended up being a UI thing. I tried eve-mogul, but it's an issue of "man, I don't trade often enough to justify blowing ISK on this" thing. Basically if there was a local version of eve-mogul that didn't cost a sub, I'd be happy. The frustrating bit is I know I -had- a useful tool that hit all my desires - top 10 NAV gainers/losers over a given time period, etc, with filtering available to discount the occasional fat finger order oopsies.

Hell, maybe it was Hel'O'Ween's tool?

First of all: one apostroph should be enough for everyone! Blink

And EWA is still there, free to grab/try/use. If you're unsure if that's the tool you used in the past, have a look at the manual and screenshots and see if that refreshes your memories.

Well, that's quite ... innovative.

I've basically replicated what I want (which I'm now convinced was a VV tool) via a combination of EWA, jEVEAssets, and EVEHQ.

EWA doesn't do profit tracking the way I'd like, because you count purchases as a negative while the asset is in process of being resold - this also means that potentially feasible NAV-gaining items will show as losers in most "snapshots" of, say, a week, because I'm not expecting instant resale. EVEHQ just ignores market buys until they match a market sale, which works out better, but doesn't offer a lot of opportunity to filter specific purchases/sales out from their data and also doesn't let you choose to sort items by profitability rather than by name or whatever value they're using to generate the profitability sheet. Neither quite does what I'm after, but both combined give me enough of a gist that I can make reasonably good choices. jEVEAssets is still by far my favorite overall week-over-week NAV tracker, which is the relevant statistic for the kind of trading I do.

Sorry, I know that's a bit wall-of-texty.

EDIT: now, not "not".

FWIW I think mogul would probably suit my needs perfectly other than the blah about handing API data to a third-party, but as I'm mostly just idling my way back up to some sort of reasonable trading profit, it's not worth the money to use it right now.

These both look interesting. Is there a reason there's no DNS for 192.40.57.168? If it's just a matter of a domain name, I'd happily offer a subdomain off of one of the domains I've registered. eveprofit.o7news.com maybe?

Serene Python has picked up EVE Profit. You may want to place your offer over at his thread: https://forums.eveonline.com/default.aspx?g=posts&t=252264&find=unread.

And last but not least, you might also wnat to have a look at Evernus: https://forums.eveonline.com/default.aspx?g=posts&t=362779. Maybe it allows you to cut the number of tools down a bit.
