Artico, maby Catiz

Then again emperor/empress isn't supposed to be "nice"

Nobody is certain which Articio is the "real" Articio, and won't be unless he becomes Emperor.

It will affect how they take the story, though. Catiz Tash-Murkon would be the one most likely to get the other Empires to unite against the Drifters. Yonis Ardishapur would be the most likely to burn bridges with the factions. The others fall in between- Khanid (if he's eligible) is a very odd mix of traditional and pragmatic, the Sarum heir is essentially an unknown, Articio Kor-Azor could either be a more benevolent equivalent to Ardishapur or let his inner raging psychopath back out of the bag, and Uriam Kador would be similar to Tash-Murkon but probably a bit less effective.
