I will point out that it sounds like a commission-based employment opportunity in the guise of a get-rich-quick scheme, along the lines of Vector Marketing in real life. It is a "scam," from your perspective, if you go into it expecting something that it's not, and it's not a scam if you go into it knowing what it is while simultaneously able and willing to do what is required.

Hah yeah I'd rather not. If I wanted to see it through, do you think I would have posted this thread asking if it were a scam or not?

A lottery is a scam to start with. It just doesn't try to hide it. You give them isk, and they keep it. They randomly pick somebody and give him some money back. Doesn't matter how you dress it up.

I'm sorry, is this not the crime & punishment forum? It seems like 99% of all isk scams are posted here. You would imagine that the people who frequent this forum are either

1. Scammers themselves
2. Have been scammed many, many times.

I was hoping for the first option, as scammers seem to be more in tune with what is a scam, and what isn't.

I would say everyone who got that mail, Myself included should report her for spamming... Cuz i do believe you are not allowed to mail spam just like the in game channels??

QFT^^ Some interesting detective work uncovered some interesting practices on this lottery... I also got this eve mail.

I believe this is the sort of thing the CSPA charges are supposed to help curtail.
