Forgot to add the bit about the launcher completely freezing and needing to be closed by Task Manager.

Any reply please CCP? Unable to update to newest version. Patching through launcher hangs and using the exe in teh bin folder is Incompatible (Build).

yes i have to do this to and not , we cannot try and download the patch ourselfs because ccp have denied us anyway of doing that ourselfs.

Same here, stuck at "0.0% creating patch" and nothing is working for me so far.

I have tried:

1. Automatic update through the launcher application, which gets stuck at 0.0%.
2. Running repair.exe with success, but it does not actually repair or update the game.
3. Downloading the ~100MB sized installer application and running it successfully, but the launcher still gets stuck at 0.0%.
4. Running another repair successfully after 3., but launcher still gets stuck at 0.0%.
... Trying to run exefile.exe directly fails with a message saying that several files are corrupt.
5. Reading through 14 pages but not finding anything that helps.
6. Sending CCP a killmail for wrecking my game.

Seeing exactly the same here. Was fine before down time, logged in earlier this morning. Now, launcher is stuck at 0% creating patch and hanging when closed - have to brute force it closed in windows task manager. Restarted pc, no change. Steam user here.

Having read everyone else's issues here I'm not going to be fecking about with manually trying to patch stuff myself, since it seems far from a reliable fix.

12393 currently connected to Tranquility. But not me. Sob.

UK capsuleer. Seems pointless doing any traceroutes when others have done and provided already, so waiting on a fix by CCP I guess.

You mean from the same "cdn1." site that the launcher and repair.exe programs can't connect and download from which is what seems to be the root cause of this ongoing problem ?

(tried downloading the installer - got this "No data received ERR_EMPTY_RESPONSE")

Taken a break and come back to the game on patch day (lucky me eh?). Paid new subscription and spent the last 48 hours trying to join the game! Same problem as everyone else, stuck at 0.0%!

I am not willing to manually add patches, as I agree with others in that I am PAYING for a service. As part of that service CCP are required to provide a useable, fit-for-the-purpose product. This, to me, means that they are the ones responsible for ensuring that all files & patches necessary to play EVE are delivered as part of the service.

I will give it 24 hours more from now to see if the problem gets fixed. If not, then the re-opened account will be closed permanently. I would expect (however unlikely) a refund for the time lost!

I downloaded that and then got the following message saying client update was unsuccessful,
After that i ran the eve repair tool and it installed a bunch of stuff then when i logged in and tried to run the
client it goes into a loading symbol and after 10 mins nothing happens,

Hmm downloading the new launcher worked for me... Lost all my settings but I am in the game now..

make sure you are running it from the new launcher u just installed not the old one...
