Cannot patch EvE

Please help.

My launcher is freezing when I run it.

It starts on 'Creating Patch 0.0%'... then it freezes. Only way to close it is to go to task manager where it says 'Not responding', and end task manually.

Yes I know there is already a post about this and I have followed all instructions on there to no avail. Have checked internet settings, have updated launcher to v.2.2.950061 etc etc etc.

Have created a ticket as well but am hoping I can resolve this today and not next week!

I am running windows 8 (64bit)

Anyone else having this issue on windows?

Had a similar issue, try downloading the client installer and installing to the same directory as the existing install.

Shouldn't bother your shared cache, but might want to back it up, just in case.

Same, stuck at initializing, repair tool didn't fix anything. This is after I had to reinstall the client this morning to get it to work after the deployment yesterday.

This is getting...tedious.

Same.... stuck at initializing.... Deleted launcher and redownloaded it, no change....

Stuck listening to corpmates getting awesome kills on TS..... bleh....

Cleared the cache, ran the repair tool and I was able to log in.

I was now able to patch and start EvE.
After reloading 10 Times or so. Might just be that CCP fixed it on the serverside.

Yesterday, stuck at Initializing. Fixed by CCP.

Today, stuck at Creating patch: 0%.

I have managed to get mine to 8.5% got stuck, closed the launcher and back to stuck at 0.0%

Well this is now the 3rd day in a row that I am unable to get into the game.

Patch day - Initializing
Yesterday - Initializing
Today - Creating Patch 0.0%

I'm wondering if I will be able to play again
