Launcher not working 26/08/2015 - Workaround

Hey folks,

Having some issues with the launcher......What?

If you want to connect to Singularity and patch you need to add a property to the file you launch sisi with kind of how you point it to connect to sisi.

Add the property /forceVersion:2.2.950061.

For the not so technical:
1. Right click the shortcut you use to run the Singularity launcher and select 'Properties'.
2. On the 'Shortcut' tab is a field called 'Target'.
3. At the end of this line add /forceVersion:2.2.950061
4. Click 'Apply'.
5. Click 'Ok'.
6. Start the launcher.

This should allow you to patch and connect to Singularity till we sort the issue.

It might take a little time to download the patch but it should work, I am logged in to SISI just now.

On top of all the problems we had this year with AT preparation... now we have daily sing DT's IN ******* EU PRIME before the final weekend, when every training hour counts.

This is either huge irresponsibility, or some perverted sense of humor =(

Launcher is stuck at "Creating patch 0.0%", and running the same launch command from the terminal starts the client but is unable to connect to specified IP.

Adding /forceVersion:2.2.950061 did away with the fail to update error, however I then got stuck on "Initializing" and now stuck on creating patch 0.0% for the past 20 minutes.


Edit: Disregard, after about 20 minutes it finally decided to start downloading/patching something.

I'm one of the very few that never threw away my sisilauncher.. It updated sisi and after that I could log straight in. Gave me 20 mins headstart of everyone else lols.
