For all of you RPing dweebs: Jamyl is not dead. If you read the lore about the initial disappearance and subsequent reappearance, it becomes very obvious that she violated Amarrian law and used capsuleer technology to make herself immortal.

They lied, I saw Jamyl last night at the car wash, she was selling Jay-Z mixtapes out the back of a Honda Accord. I know it was her because she was there with Elvis, Tupac and Jon Snow.

Jamyl is dead as the empress. Whether or not she is dead as a pod pilot is up for debate.

Pod pilots can die. They can be biomassed.

All the other heirs of Jamyl's time were pod pilots, and they all died permanently. They had their burn scanners turned off because amarr heirs are not allowed to clone.

It is likely that Jamyl's pod also had the scanner turned off this time around, at Safizon.
