So still having this issue, about 11.5 hrs after the patch was deployed. Just out of interest tracerouted the address shown in the post above and the DNS points to a cloudfront.net server in Sydney. So this is really a third party issue, which is why you aren't really talking to us about it CCP?

Time to get a new provider, this seems to be happening an awful lot.

Still launcher not updating.... Creating patch 0.0% almost 12 hours after update...

How often the launcher gets screwed up is impressive....... well worth my subscription a month....

oh yes and in respect to the below comment - define successfully ??????

what would be classed as a failure?

Bugs found so far today.

1. Launcher still craps out. Come on after this many issues over how many mini-expansions, give us a stable, reliable working Launcher or scrap it for another method to login AND update. Yes I know about logging in via client.exe but that does Not update. Then again, lately that might be a blessing in disguise...

2. The 'whiteout' effect after killing a rat in a mission area is still occasionally happening to players. Very old bug, would be awesome if it was fixed for ease of eyes for those in the low light vision life.

3. Yup, my long axis ships still have some fishtailing on black space ice when warping. Please advise, or put Snow Tire AB/MWD Chains (T1, meta variants, and T2) as a mod. Low slot please.

4. Shared Cache still regularly corrupts itself on random players' computers. Probably part of issue 1. of today's bug list.

5. Repair.exe is still the bad joke it's been for a few months. See number 1. for possible source of headache.

And Number Six with great emphasis... Moar Wingy Bits plz on Minny boats. In celebration of the death of the Slaver Empress!

Havent Been able to patch either,

Can we have a manual download patch available at least to try, like the old days as a backup solution?

The downloadable installer is ~100MB. That should get you all the files you need to run the game.
After that, rescache.exe can verify your resource cache and fix anything that's corrupted there if needed.

These two options together are probably better than using the repair tool.

Well, a client removal and reinstall changed it from being stuck at 0.0% to being stuck at 0.6%.

Clearly the patching destination is unavailable for some reason. CCP, can you PLEASE just put out a manual patch for me to download and install. I'm home sick and this is the only thing keeping me sane!

*EDIT* It s started and is now patched. I would recommend a reinstall if all else fails.

So umm about a fix...will we be seeing one today or should I just scrap my Eve plans and try again tomorrow? The lack of communication is probably worse than the actual problem. My open ticket is at 6 hours, I updated my client like 10 hours ago, seriously, if the devs are just holding out for free pizza again before they announce a fix I will have Papa Johns express some pies right over.

So neither my Wife's or my Accounts are patching. Between us we have 4 accounts and we cant play Oops Have tried all of the offered suggestions but to no avail.

Launcher gets stuck at 0.0% and cannot load through the Bin file either as it has files missing.

We just cannot get the patch.

Wife is running Windows 10 and I'm using windows 7 and we both get the same issue.

Please CCP get this fixed

I have run the rescache and it identified 35000 files missing. So I tried to download them only after 1 1/2 hrs to be told that 0 of the 35,000 downloaded. I have crap loads of memory left it aint that.

is this a southern hemisphere thing?

When are we going to get some clr guidance?

Re the reinstall...

The offline installer fails with the error that eveonline_918607_1.cab is not digitally signed and therefore may be corrupt. So don't bother trying that.

Downloading the actual zipped patch file from EveDL, renaming it to .patch, then running the loader seems to be working.

I don't recommend downloading the full installer. It's large, and we don't release one for every single build, so you'll have to patch it anyway (ie. if patching is the problem, you'll may run into it again). If you already have the resources, you're just redownloading them, when you could verify them with the rescache tool (~3MB for the index with checksums in the build).

You have to understand that a lot of players are Not PC savy <-- dumbest pc operator in the world , you really do need to understand this and relate options in a easier and understandable fashion .. is probably why numbers are less from when I first started playing.. 1 + 1 = ?

Yup, the 'whiteout' effect seems to show up the most in mission sites after some random rat pops. Every so often the triggering rat death is in an asteroid belt. Not sure on Anomaly combat sites, not in my usual tour of things to do. In my case, it's either half screen (right side only for some reason) or full as in the above screen shot.

And to add the Successfully quote ... meh if it was successful would there be anyone complaining of launcher problems. please CCP those of us who are persisting love this game so please don't be stuck up arse's and be ignorant to the facts.

IE Before patch game was running ok --- after patch all these issues. Go figure.

we do after pay to play this game one way or another, listen to your providers. arrogance was and is the failure of many world renowned situations.

Keep eve great and keep it simple that's all people want is to open a launcher or game and play. not be hit with problems, which cant be helped or can be helped

There I have vented

Successfully Patched refers to the server starting up.

But it's ok, someone whinges about this every time, because they have issues it can't have been a successful deployment.

There are issues and CCP are working to fix them, based on some posts, it seems there may be issues with the links between individuals and the CCP servers. How many are in Australia?

Maybe it is the bullshit laws their government just foisted on ISP's to track metadata causing issues
