the AT ships are on the market, but they dont have the bonuses listed, they dont even have the traits tab

I tested this and the logserver did not record anything. I did not have a previous instance of the exefile running. After starting as instructed an instance of exefile appeared in task manager, but as previously, the client did not start.

7 hours and a ridiculous amount attempts, still Can Not get launcher working.

I don't understand how half the world can get on and play and others cant. ?????

At least I did that 2 hours ago, just haven't got any answer. No playing tonight then, had fun stuff to do there, but no. Off to bed then, pissed off.

After going through all the "fixes", none of which worked (yeah, why would I keep "Fixing" it if it worked) - in the end, I just had to go through and download it all again.

ESET/NOD32 - worked fine before the "successfully deployed", didn't work after.

What's the only thing that changed? CCP?

It's bad enough that I have to run the game in administrator mode, because it can't locate the resources to run the game under their outdated memory model - now I have to lower my virus protection to get it to launch?

CCP needs to get it's (excrement) together - otherwise I'm going to be questioning whether I should cut my losses and go to a different game altogether.

When I uninstalled I didint delete the cache etc (unticked the option on the last page of the uninstall dialogue).

When I re-installed it took about 2 minutes (was expecting a lot longer).

[edit] made a copy of my eve folder in documents but I didn't appear to need it, all settings were as before.

As soon as I re-installed, Launcher working as normal.

[edit 2] realised I had spent far more time looking at this thread waiting for a fix than it even took me to write this post :).

I am on the far end of a crappy internet and it doesn't work on 4 machines, having to re-install them all is just plain dumb..

The number of Infested Station Ruins (the Drone Hive structures in the second room of the Independence) that are lumped together in 2 positions is too high and causes frame rate drops and looks just horrid.

NPC now continue to red box you even though they attack someone else. They used to yellow box you in the past which is more logical.

Updated launcher client with Galatea release- Check

Attempt to log in to any of my 5 accounts- Check

Failed to gain access to any of my 5 accounts- Check

Turned it off and back on again- Check

Read through and attempted multiple fixes on forums and Reddit- Check

Followed CCP Devs direction to submit a support ticket- Check

Questioning my life choices that leave me feeling empty inside not knowing what my characters are doing and hoping they aren't feeling the pain of separation that I am feeling right now- Check

Ok after removing everything to do with eve from pc including singularity and duality and re-downloaded client I can now log on to game.....

Kinda ridiculous that this had to happen ccp......

Completely stuck at Char-Selection Screen. It loads the Picture and Name of the first char, background image and static content seems to load. Everything else stays blank. Clicking the char won't trigger a login of that char.
Repair-Tool and Launcher both don't throw an error.

Suggestions?

Solution: Deleting SharedCache Files, cleaing cache using launcher. Works. Although: Re-Downloading using the launcher is so damn slow, I'm thinking about requesting a carrier pidgeon from CCP-headquarter with the game files on a microSD-Card. Ugh

Thanks, this is very good to know. It seems like your resource cache was corrupted. I have just seen logs in a bug report, which would also indicate a corrupted resource cache.

If anybody else experiences similar problems: Please run rescache.exe (located in the folder of your EVE client), which will verify your resource cache and repair broken files.

9 hours and the launcher is still stuck.....

Your communication is terrible, the odd Dev comment often unrelated to the main issue whereas there are loads of people who cant play the game were paying you to play. I mean come on.....

Tried patching last night and the patch just got stuck at 0%. Eventually gave up and went to bed, thought I'd check again this morning.... still stuck at 0%.

Initial started then updater hung,,, closed it,, opened Repair.exe from CCP folder,, repaired installation,, restarted updater and was successful. Hope this helps

Same, my launcher is stuck at 0.0 percent "creating patch". When I close the launcher it hangs and needs to be force closed. I tried repair.exe, which just gave me an error message telling me to look for an error log. When I follow that file path, there is no file in the folder it tells me to go to. I tried downloading that patch from eve-files and applying it manually - didn't work. I also tried redownloading the eve installer and installing it to the same location as my client - no dice. If my only option is to go nuclear and reinstall, can somebody link me a guide to preserving my client settings? Don't want to have to remake my overview.
