Sound Issues - Static Burst

I just upgraded to Windows 10, I'm currently experiencing an incredible burst of loud static when I log in and my ship is in the hangar. The sound gradually dies down to just the ambient noise of the station but when I undock it bursts out again. I though it was my onboard sound as the driver was very old and there wasn't a driver for Windows 10. So I purchased a Sound Blaster card and installed it and it's Windows 10 drivers with high hopes. They have since been dashed as the same issues in currently plaguing me. Any assistance you could offer would be greatly appreciated.
