I've been away from EvE for a few months now, 3 I think? Just don't have the drive to play lately. I've thought about signing in and liquidating all my assets then buying a few BS' and go into null to have a bit of fun, but just sounds like work moving 6bil worth of ships!

So what do you guys do for fun? I tried the corp thing for a bit, but lost interest mainly cuz I'm too lazy to recruit. Joined a WH corp a bit before that, quit when the CEO dropped us in the middle of an alliance with multiple wars ( from my understanding we were 'discussing the possibility' of doing so ). And a few corps before that, but it all just gets boing after awhile, so someone PLEASE enlighten me!

EVE is best suited to self motivated people, if you have to ask this question you probably need to work on that.

If you have multiple alts, I like to suggest to you the fabulous art of Corp Theft. It can make you 15-30 billion in about 4-5 months so I suggest you plan carefully and be prepared to biomass that char after the deed is done. Afterwards rinse and repeat this process and I guarantee you that your phase 'Boredom in Eve" would be a forgotten one.

@Jenn
True, I am self-motivated, but it's geared towards my day-job and coding, not gaming at this point in time.

@Cannibal
Thought about that, joined my last corp with that intention, found they were pretty cool peeps, ended up staying for quite awhile.

Honestly the more I think about it, I could sell this toon and get a substantial amount of isk to play on the market at my discretion, though I don't see myself making loads of isk, it would be a learning experience with my trader alt.

200 mil sp and 60 mil sp alt, not bored.

Go play with your corporates and alliance mates. There's always something to do.

Been around since the beginning.

You could do it out of game as well. There were 2 guys talking about mining the other day down at the coffee shop, and I was in perfect position to gank them, but didn't. Self control: Elite certificate there. The fact that they were much bigger than me and could kick my ass easily had very little to do with my decision.

Since the cessation of their usefulness is imminent, may I appropriate your belongings?

Hola at me and come to the Stain ghetto where we can build a corp with a purpose and have the biggest adventure you've ever had in a computer game in your life.

Maybe you can start to write your history in this game Bear. Join a active corp/alliance that can make activities you like, meet ppl and get fun.

PVP

It is what EVE was intended for.

PvP. Each encounter is different and unique.
Chat with the fleet mates. People come and go, drama ebbs and flows, ideas are brought up and dismissed.
Plan and run various events.
Grind for ISK to fund my PvP losses.
Read the forums and FHC and reddit.

There's enough new stuff always going on to keep my interest after 27m SP.

Takes 1 day of training to be out venture blapping
1 month for a 90% done cat pilot
2 months for a perfect cat pilot

Have you considered giving back to the community and helping us protect high sec?

The eternal question of the bored.

Sometimes we entertain ourselves, sometimes we want others to entertain us, and sometimes we are the entertainment.

I like mining, but you might prefer jumping into your fastest shuttle and seeing how many jumps you can make into the wilds of space.
