EVE Damage Notifications

Hello everyone,

Does anyone know if there is a way to get external damage notifications? I like to mine and watch movies on the same device, so I usually have EVE's audio turned off. That could be a problem, because I don't get alerts if rats/gankers try to attack me.

So I was wondering if there is any software, or an already built-in feature that gives you visual alerts (like a pop-up)?

I cheerfully notify all the miners I "interact" with to alert them that damage has been done to their preciouses.

CCP is working on a new game setting to be used with 'the cattle prod'. This revolutionary device will make sure you know youre being agressed, in fact, it guarantees you will know, if used according to manufacturer's, disclaimer....er i mean 'instructions'.

Yawn,  I'm right as usual. The predictability kinda gets boring really.

1. buy a second monitor

2. go into audio settings and turn most of it off, but leave the "important" ones on. like shield warnings or targeting sounds.

3. watch the movie in a window that is slightly smaller than the game screen, probably just small enough that you can see the overview, or other relevant info.
