Considering wormhole life

I'm considering wormhole life. I know the general info about wormholes from reading online and i think i dove into one or two before. But what i'm looking for is whats life like if i were to join a wormhole corp? Whats the daily life like when you log in? What are the activities? Is it mostly PVE, exploration and running sites and stuff. Or is there PVP to be had as well?

Thanks in advanced!

depends what kind of corp. If you're a carebear there can be a lot of PvE, if you want to PvP find a corp that rolls their static a bunch and is constantly looking for ****

If thuggin' was a category I'd win a Grammy

And yeah also that. Lol

(Not too late, run away now and do lowsex or somethin'!)

Totally depends what you want to do, then you should go find a corp who fits that mould.

Some corps spend all day running sites, PVEing, making ISK. Others do nothing but hunt for PVP. And there's corps who do a mixture of both to all degrees inbetween.

When considering wormhole life the correct question to ask oneself is.
Can I entertain myself or am I dependent on others to find my fun?
Am I willing to use 50% of my time in eve scanning and looking for content ?
What class of wormholes does my skillpoint level allow me to live in ?
Am I willing to deal with the logistics in wormhole space ?

Then as the others said depending on if you want to pvp or pve you need to find a wormhole corp which has the same interest as you do and play in the same timezone as you do. In wormhole space you need to work allot closer with your team mates so you need to find some people who enjoy each others company and you will fit into.

I thought wormhole space was the place to go if you could not live with local.

Lots of scanning. Otherwise its what you (and your corp) make of it.

I don't need twitter. I'm already following you.

If you only take fights you can outnumber, you're looking at the right space. Rengas, bb, I see the light.

This question is so broad.... im just going to say some things and maybe it helps.

Any wormhole corp you join NEEDS to be exactly what you want to do. You are talking on a lot of work in logistics to have the freedom of no CTAs and whatever other nullsec bs. There are a LOT of absolute crap wormhole corps. Make sure whatever corp you are in you LOVE it. Do not waste time in some corp that just is kinda what you want.

My biggest complaints from wpsace corps:
1. WAY too much krabbing. Stacking isk all day for no reason but because ppl wan2 be internet space rich.
2. Corps with no content creators. Ppl just pos spinning all day wondering why there isnt content and complaining about it.
3. Corps loaded with bitter vets that are honestly terrible at the game but "know everything". Eve is a social game, u should like the ppl you are going to be hanging out with.
4. Corps with bad ceos or maybe just no direction or plan. Logging in to just do whatever isnt enough for me.
5. Corps that bait and switch: "oh we are a pvp corp!!! wait... we gotta run these sites first" what a joke
6. Everyone is too bitter/lazy to scan or do anything but respond to pings... ugh so irritating
7. Corps where people are too risk adverse because KBs are important to them. "We cant fight battlecruisers and 2 guardians with our frig fleet. we might die!!! We cant have red on the killboard!!!" -no fk you! its content and ya.. .we are guna try and break 2 guardians with 3 enyos and radical amarr jammers. it MIGHT work. (it didnt)

So in my experience I couldn't find a corp I wanted to actually be in that was willing to accept me. So the only thing left to do was make my own. I am so happy I made my own corp. It was the only way to make sure I was getting what I wanted. I did not want to settle.

so my advice to you... figure out what you want, and figure out what corp ACTUALLY does that not just... say it does that. Feel free to mail me, maybe i can help you find a home.

Isn't it ridiculous? I mean. you blob and evict people consistently for a few years and then suddenly people think you're blobbers. What's with that?

Don't they know about that one time when you actually didn't blob? Remember that one time way back?

No?

Yeah, neither does anyone else.

It's ok though, I'm sure your Soviet overlords will soothe your broken feelings with more hard cash.

What's that? you say you're not a bought and paid for pawn of the current hegemony? You expect us to believe that?

Adorable.

I just had a quick check and Lazerhawks has spearheaded an almost total of 10!!! Evictions! In their near 2 years of living in W-Space. 3 of them being anyone major, the rest were bears who never fought or alt corps with unknown owners. I'm talking about corps with 10~ members that login just to bear.

As for blobbing? I wasn't aware 20-30 man fleets were a "blob" by wormhole standards for actual fights (Read: not ganking dudes running sites with their pantaloons down.) Just today we got blueballed when we had 13 to their 11 on field because we had a "blob."

Don't even get me started on being paid by QEX or whoever. I laugh so much it hurts.

Don't you come in here trying to sound all rational and researched.
